You don't need to do anything; this activation will be done automatically. If a technician’s visit is required, the time needed to get an appointment varies based on demand. So, make sure to plan ahead during the moving season in June and July. A plan (or the service) is not available As you fill out your move request for your Home Internet plan, we’ll obviously ask you to enter your new address. FAQ
How can I put my plan on pause?
Going on vacation, moving or simply taking a break? Put your Home Internet plan on pause with just a few clicks. Good to know: A mobile plan cannot be put on pause. The best solution if you don’t want to lose your rewards in our loyalty program is to adjust your plan to its strict minimum (by only keeping the provincial coverage for instance) for the time being. How to change my mobile plan Putting your Internet plan on pause Putting your Internet plan on pause is done directly in your Fizz account > My plans > Manage plan > Pause my plan. Price per pause: $10 (plus applicable taxes) Your Home Internet plan can be put on pause up to two (2) times every 12 months per calendar year, for a maximum of six (6) months each time. The first time you put on your plan on pause will therefore determine the dates of your 12-month period. Let's illustrate this with an example. If you pause your plan on February 3, 2025, your plan must be reactivated no later than 6 months later, on or before August 3. You will then be left with one (1) pause available until February 2nd of the following year. Keeping with that example, say you wish to schedule your second pause to start December 12, 2025. Because your 12 months end February 2nd, 2026, that second pause will end on that date even if its length will be less than 6 months. If you wish to keep your plan on pause beyond that date, you’ll need to submit a new pause to start February 3, 2026. You will then be left with one (1) pause until February 2nd, 2027. Good to know: You keep your Fizz Wi-Fi modem. You’ll need it when your
FAQ
How do I set up call forwarding?
Call forwarding allows you to forward your calls to another phone number of your choice. It’s useful when you’re on the move, or when you wish to be reached at a number other than your Fizz mobile phone number. Call forwarding and VoLTE. Call forwarding will work when you use a VoLTE certified phone, activated with a VoLTE compatible SIM card. If your phone is not VoLTE certified, manually setting up call forwarding will not work. Call forwarding for the voicemail option remains functional. The details about VoLTE Manually set up Call forwarding To use the Call forwarding function, make sure your plan includes minutes or that you have funds in your Wallet to pay-per-use. Only outgoing calls are possible when call forwarding is activated. Your phone will not ring and you will not receive any notifications (message, missed call, etc.). All incoming calls will be automatically forwarded to the programmed number until the call forwarding function is disabled. To activate call forwarding, dial: Press the * key twice then 21*(number you’re forwarding to)# You can add commas to indicate a pause while dialling. This is how you would add an extension, for example: Press the * key twice then 21*(number you’re forwarding to),,1234# All incoming calls will be redirected to the number you provide, without delay and without your phone ringing. To activate call forwarding to different phone numbers under specific conditions: If you don’t reply after several rings: Press the * key twice then 61*(number you’re forwarding to)# If your line is not available (busy): Press the * key twice then 62*(number you’re forwarding to)# Note: Calls can be directed to a different number for each type of forwarding. Please note: it is impossible to forward a call when you are roaming outside Canada or the United States

FAQ
How do payment cycles work?
Start date Please note that a payment cycle does not necessarily follow calendar months. For example, if you subscribe on June 6th, your payment cycle will be from June 6th to July 5th. For your mobile service: The date on which you activate your SIM card is the anniversary date for your mobile plan, and this date marks the start of your payment cycle each month. For your Home Internet service: You received your Fizz Wi-Fi modem by mail? Its activation date marks the beginning of your payment cycle. Don’t forget, Fizz will activate it remotely three (3) days after its delivery date, but you can activate it yourself in your account if you’re ready before then. Your modem was delivered by a technician? If you had an installation appointment with a technician, your modem will be activated then, and the date of your appointment therefore marks the beginning of your payment cycle. For your TV service: The payment cycle for your TV plan will be the same as the one for your Home Internet plan. But because your TV plan is activated as soon as you subscribe, you may need to pay a prorated amount on that day to bridge the gap until the next payment cycle of your Home Internet plan . Say you subscribe to Fizz TV on December 14, but your next payment cycle for your Home Internet plan only starts on December 30. The prorated amount you will pay on December 14 will therefore correspond to those 16 days. Come your next full payment cycle, December 30 in our example, the payments for both those plans (internet and TV) will be combined, and the payment cycle for your TV plan will be synchronized to the payment cycle of your Home Internet plan. Duration Please note

The ABCs of Fizz mobile services.
Good-to-know info about Fizz mobile services. Because no one can know everything about something, we tried to group interesting details about our mobile services. You know, those little details that just seem hidden somewhere? Well, here you go! Coverage Consult the interactive map Even if you live within our coverage area, that doesn’t mean you can subscribe to Fizz mobile services. You must live within the subscription area. The coverage area you choose determines the expanse of the calls and texts included in your plan. If you choose the Canada coverage for instance, you can make or receive calls anywhere in the country. But with a Quebec coverage, a call made or receive from Vancouver for example would not be included in your plan, and you’d have to buy a Travel Add-on. If you chose unlimited calls when creating your plan, you can make or receive as many calls as you like when you are within your coverage area. Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico are included in the Canada + U.S. coverage area. Exception if you are new to Fizz: The name of the network indicated on your phone will not initially say Fizz. Instead, you will see Fizz EXT. We are aware of this situation and are working to address it. Rest assured, your phone is not roaming, and you will not incur any charges. Simply restart your phone 72 hours (that’s 3 days) following the activation of your SIM card, and all will be in order. The telecoms industry, including Fizz, is working to establish a 5G network across the country. Until then, the LTE-Advanced network on which Fizz operates is extensive and reliable, as well as being more than enough for mobile service needs. 5G is a fascinating technology that will enable advances in many sectors.
