What to expect when you activate your SIM card or your eSIM:

Sign in, or sign up to create your account.
Activating your SIM (SIM card or eSIM) means associating it with a mobile plan in your account, thus the need to sign in. Your Fizz account is your hub for everything, like manage your plan, set up your rewards and activate your SIM 😊.
If you’re new to Fizz, all you need to create your account and activate your SIM is an email address, a valid payment method and just a few minutes of your time.
To add a mobile plan to your account, go to the Overview and select the Add a mobile plan tile.

Choose your SIM.
You’ll be presented with three options:
- Order a physical SIM card.
- Activate a physical SIM card if you already have one.
- If your phone is compatible, order and activate an eSIM.

Customize and confirm your mobile plan.
After the SIM step, you'll land on our plan wizard. As you customize your plan to your liking, the price per month will vary accordingly.
Remember that you can adjust your plan throughout your Fizz journey, directly from your account on Fizz.ca. Once your changes are submitted, they’ll go live come your next payment cycle.XX

Set up your phone number and your payment method.
For your phone number, you’ll be presented with three options:
- Transfer your current number from your previous provider. To do so, your mobile plan with your current provider must be still active.XX How the transfer works.
- Get a new, random number. You’ll be presented with a list of numbers to choose from.
- Get a number for which you choose the last 4 digits. This option has a one-time fee of $1. We’ll search and present you with available options.
For your payment method, know that with our pre-authorized payment set up, your monthly plan is billed when your payment cycle starts. This way, you know exactly what you'll pay – no unexpected fees.
You’re almost done.
One last check to your order summary and hit submit. The confirmation page that pops up will tell you what to do next based on whether you transferred a number or got a new one.
