Referral program: how can I invite, and get invited?
Once you’re a member, we’ll assign you your very own unique referral code. You’ll then be able to earn additional referral bonuses by inviting friends to use your referral code to join Fizz. You therefore have the opportunity to get a referral bonus by getting invited to Fizz, but also afterwards by inviting friends to join. You must have an active Fizz plan to invite friends and receive referral bonuses. The amount of the referral bonus may vary depending on the provinces where the new member’s and the active member’s plans are activated, as well as the offer in effect at the time of subscription. For a mobile plan, the bonus is based on the date the invited person activates their SIM card. For a Home Internet plan, it’s based on the date the invited person subscribes and chooses their installation appointment. As an example: Someone in Quebec refers a person in Manitoba. Each will receive the referral bonus amount in their own region at the time of subscription. To find out the current reference bonus amount and how it works, please refer to these pages: Invite Friends with our Referral Program | Fizz Referral program: how do referral bonuses work? | Fizz Getting invited Any one person can only be invited once, and thus use a referral code when they subscribe to their first Fizz service. For example, if a person subscribes to the Fizz mobile service without using a referral code, one cannot be applied retroactively. This same person cannot use a referral code if they activate a Home Internet plan since that plan will now be their second Fizz plan. Don’t know anyone at Fizz? Several of our members share their referral code on our Facebook posts. Make a new friend, and enjoy this bonus. Inviting friends. Your referral code is a unique five-digit combination of

The ABCs of Fizz mobile services.
Good-to-know info about Fizz mobile services. Because no one can know everything about something, we tried to group interesting details about our mobile services. You know, those little details that just seem hidden somewhere? Well, here you go! Coverage Consult the interactive map Even if you live within our coverage area, that doesn’t mean you can subscribe to Fizz mobile services. You must live within the subscription area. The coverage area you choose determines the expanse of the calls and texts included in your plan. If you choose the Canada coverage for instance, you can make or receive calls anywhere in the country. But with a Quebec coverage, a call made or receive from Vancouver for example would not be included in your plan, and you’d have to buy a Travel Add-on. If you chose unlimited calls when creating your plan, you can make or receive as many calls as you like when you are within your coverage area. Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico are included in the Canada + U.S. coverage area. Exception if you are new to Fizz: The name of the network indicated on your phone will not initially say Fizz. Instead, you will see Fizz EXT. We are aware of this situation and are working to address it. Rest assured, your phone is not roaming, and you will not incur any charges. Simply restart your phone 72 hours (that’s 3 days) following the activation of your SIM card, and all will be in order. The telecoms industry, including Fizz, is working to establish a 5G network across the country. Until then, the LTE-Advanced network on which Fizz operates is extensive and reliable, as well as being more than enough for mobile service needs. 5G is a fascinating technology that will enable advances in many sectors. How can I change the SIM associated with my mobile plan?
The SIM card (subscriber identification module) is a chip with information that identifies you and connects your phone to the Fizz mobile network. It can be a physical SIM card or an eSIM (if your phone is compatible of course). If you are looking to activate a SIM card for a new plan, and not an existing plan that is already active in your account, head this way > https://fizz.ca/en/faq/activate If you lose or break your SIM, your mobile plan will no longer work. Important: Once your new SIM is activated, the old one that is currently associated with your plan will be automatically deactivated.
