What’s the My Rewards program?

The My Rewards program allows you to earn rewards for every dollar you spend with us. You also move along in the program when you participate in the Community Hub, gift your mobile data to another Fizz member, refer a friend, etc. In fact, the longer you stay with Fizz, the more you’ll be dazzled with the rewards we have in store for you throughout your Fizz journey :) How do I subscribe? You are automatically subscribed to My Rewards the minute you create an account on fizz.ca . Don’t have an active plan yet? No worries. You can still start earning points in the program by participating in the Community Hub for example. You’ll need an active Fizz plan, however, to use any reward you receive. How does My Rewards work? Throughout your Fizz journey, you collect points for actions you complete: make your payment on time, answer a question in the Community Hub, refer friends, add funds to your wallet… you get the point (no pun intended). Accumulating points allows you to progress from level to level. Your points are yours, and yours alone. You cannot gift your points to another Fizz member. It’s also important to know that your points cannot be redeemed for cash. If a member is not the one paying for his own plan, such as it may be the case for a young member whose parents pay for them, this member won’t receive the points related to the dollars spent. What do I receive with the My Rewards program?

The upgrades Each time you reach a new level in the My Rewards program, you unlock a new upgrade. An upgrade is a long-term reward that boosts your plan every month, like additional mobile data or a monthly rebate on the price of your Home Internet plan. Once activated on your plan, you get to enjoy your upgrade each and every month. Every upgrade is valid for two (2) years starting from the date you receive it (whether you apply it to your plan or not). So, keep an eye out and activate your upgrades as soon as possible to fully take advantage of them. Each Fizz plan has three (3) slots on which an upgrade can be applied. The number of unlocked slots ready to welcome an upgrade varies based on your My Rewards level. If you have more than one slot available on a plan, the upgrades you’ll assign to that plan will be cumulative, making your plan even richer. Can I gift my upgrades to another Fizz member, or transfer them from month to month? Your upgrades are yours, and yours alone. You cannot gift your upgrades to another Fizz member. An upgrade, however, gets the same preferential treatment as your plan. As such, if you activate a mobile data upgrade on your plan and you don’t use all its data within a payment cycle, the unused data will get rolled over to the next month. For example, say you receive an upgrade of 200 MB of additional mobile data, but only end up using 50 MB during your payment cycle. The remaining 150 MB will be rolled over to the next month. What is a Referral Code and how do I get one?

You must have an active Fizz plan to invite friends and receive Referral Bonuses. There is no limit on how many people you can refer. When one of your friends uses your referral code during their subscription, whether to a mobile or Home internet service, and completes their second monthly payment, they will receive a referral bonus. From there, your referral bonus will be applied on your next payment. Your unique Referral Code is a five-digit combination of letters and numbers that is automatically generated and revealed to you when subscribe to Fizz. It is case insensitive, meaning you can use upper or lower case letters (for example: AB123 or ab123). Every Referral Code is unique. It does not change or expire. If you unsubscribe and resubscribe to Fizz, you will have the same Referral Code. It does not expire. Referral Code To retrieve your Referral Code: Go to My Profile in your Fizz account. Scroll to the menu below your usage update and select Invite Friends . On the bottom of this page, click on Reveal my Referral Code . On the next screen, slide the toggle from Off to On to reveal your code. Login to your account to get your Referral Code Distribute my Referral Code There are dozens of ways to get the word out. Inside the Invite friends area in My profile , you can connect to your email and social accounts and send invitations. To distribute your Referral Code: Go to My Profile in your Fizz account. Scroll to the menu below your usage update and select Invite Friends . On the bottom of this page, click on Reveal my Referral Code . Click Next . Here you will see options for distributing your Referral Code . Choose a network or medium and follow

I just subscribed to Fizz, but forgot to enter my friend’s referral code.

Unfortunately we don’t allow referred friends to retroactively apply a referral code. If you didn’t apply your friend’s referral code when you signed up, you’re out of luck. What kind of rewards do I earn for inviting friends?

Every time someone you refer activates their Fizz account, whether for a mobile or Home internet service , you get a Referral Bonus on your payment. The person you refer also gets a referral bonus on their Fizz payment. Once your referred friend makes their second monthly payment, Referral Bonuses are applied to the next payment (yours and his). How do I know when friends I invite have signed up? You are notified every time a referred friends subscribes, activates their account and makes their second payment. You will receive an in-account notification, and depending on your communications preferences, also an email or a text. You can also track the status of your invited friends in your Referral History . To view your Referral History Go to My Profile in your Fizz account. Scroll to the menu below your usage update and select Referral Bonuses . When do I get my Referral Bonus? Referral Bonuses are unlocked when your referred friend makes their second monthly payment. The bonus will be applied as a reduction on your next monthly payment. If you have multiple plans , your Referral Bonuses will be applied to the monthly payment for your default (main) plan. If you leave Fizz, you will lose the referral bonuses that are waiting in your account. If you reactivate your plan within the 30 days following your deactivation, however, you’ll get them back. Transaction history Where can I see how and when my Referral Bonuses were applied to my monthly payment? You can see how your Referral Bonuses were applied to your monthly payment in your Transaction history. How to view your Transaction history: Go to My Plans in your Fizz account. Where do I go in my account to invite friends?

To access the Referral Program in your Fizz account: Go to My Profile in your Fizz account . Scroll to the menu and select Invite Friends . There is no limit on how many people you can refer. When one of your friends uses your referral code during their subscription, whether to a mobile or Home internet service, and completes their second monthly payment, they will receive a referral bonus. From there, your referral bonus will be applied on your next payment. Any one person can only be referred once, however. For example, if a person uses a referral code when subscribing to the Fizz mobile service, she won’t be able to use that code (or a new one) when she adds another mobile plan or subscribes to the Home internet service (the reference code field will have disappeared).
