If you are following the process of transferring your current phone number to Fizz, the table below outlines the account number formats used by different providers. Your account number is on your bill or in the client account for your current provider. If you cannot find your account number, or if you are not unsure about which number to use, we advise you to submit your transfer request using the IMEI for the phone you are using with your current provider. To find your IMEI, dial *#06# on your phone’s keyboard. If the number is more than 15 digits long, enter only the first 15 digits. Please let us know if there’s a problem with returning your Wi-Fi modem. To contact Customer Service, simply click on the chat bubble in the bottom right corner of this page. You can access the bubble chat within our business hours. If you return a modem that is in poor condition, or if we receive a box that does not contain your modem, you will be charged a $225 (plus applicable taxes) modem replacement fee and/or $60 for delivery by a technician. You can, of course, buy a phone on fizz.ca, but you can also use your own phone with Fizz. To do so, however, your phone must be: Compatible with eSIMs if you wish to use an eSIM. VoLTE-compatible at Fizz* (required with the 3G network withdrawal that starts July 31, 2025) * If your phone is not VoLTE-compatible at Fizz, you can activate a mobile plan before July 31, 2025, but keep in mind that: Your phone must be compatible with our network and able to support its frequencies. You will need to replace your phone with a VoLTE-compatible model in anticipation of the 3G withdrawal that will start July 31, 2025. We strongly recommend that you take the necessary steps now to avoid any inconveniences once the 3G network has been decommissioned, such as the inability to make calls and contact 911. The delivery of your package, whether it is a SIM card, a phone or a Wi-Fi modem, is done by a third party. The delivery date indicated on your order summary is for reference only; Fizz cannot guarantee a specific delivery date. Important: The scheduled delivery date cannot be changed. What are the delivery times for a SIM card or a device? You should plan between 2 to 5 working days for the delivery of a SIM card. Deliveries are made from Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. If the delivery time includes a holiday, it will take an extra day for delivery. For a phone or Wi-Fi modem, you will receive an email with a tracking number to follow your package. To check the status of your delivery: Log into your account and go to My settings > Order history > View Details Click on the shipment number to view your delivery details on the courier's website. When you login to your account, you will see a summary of your status to date. The top navigation on this screen enables you to view and manage different aspects of your account. If you have unused data in your account, you can gift it to any member who is findable in the Fizz community (in other words, anyone who is not in Incognito mode), and whose plan includes data. You can choose to randomly gift data any time. Or, you can wait until it’s almost the end of your payment cycle and gift data before it rolls over. Learn about Rollovers If you want to gift unused data at the end of your payment cycle, you can gift it right before your current payment cycle ends. Once this cycle is over, however, the data will roll over — it will no longer be available to send as a gift. You cannot take back or unsend a data gift. Once you click Send, your gifted data is permanently removed from your plan. How do I gift data to another Member? To send a gift: Go to My Plans in your Fizz account. Scroll to the plan (if you have more than one in your account) that you want to gift from. Click Gift. On the next screen, choose Start gifting. Choose a contact or search for a new Fizz member who you want to gift to. This will open the gifting tool. * Select the amount of data you wish to gift and click Next. Customize a message to the recipient and click Send. * If you select an email or referral code from your contact list, data will be given to the first (oldest) activated plan on the account associated by default with that email address or referral code (there may be multiple phone numbers on this email). Check your signal Remember, no Internet means no TV. Your TV channels are delivered over your Fizz Home Internet connection. If you’re running into any issue with your TV service, start by checking your Internet connection. Check the region on your device The region settings of any compatible device you are watching your Fizz TV content on must be set to Canada. How to check and change the region: Apple TV: Settings > General > Region > select “Canada”. Roku: A Roku device remembers the IP address you use and sets your region from the second you connect it to the Internet. This means you may need to create a new Roku account, reset your Roku device and link the device to your new account. Refer to your device instructions. Android TV/Android mobile: In Google Play Store > Settings > General > Account and Device Preferences > Country and Profiles > Select “Canada”. Amazon Fire TV: Sign in to your Amazon account linked to the Firestick > Accounts and Lists > Content and Devices > Preferences > Country/Region Settings > Change > Select “Canada”. Apple mobile (iOS/iPad): Settings > (your name at top) > Media & Purchases > View Account > Country/Region > Change Country or Region > Select “Canada”. Use the latest version of the Fizz TV app Having the latest version of the Fizz TV app is key. If you’re not using the latest version, updating it may actually address your issue from the get-go. Check which version you’re using: In the Fizz TV app itself: Select “Settings” and the app version will be displayed in the bottom-right corner. Android TV/Fire TV devices: Settings > Apps > Fizz TV.
