A zone is a group of countries that all share the same rates. The 988 Suicide Crisis Helpline is a new three-digit helpline that provides urgent, live support by phone and text to people in every province and territory across the country. The 988 service is available in English and French, 24 hours a day, every single day of the year across the country. Trained responders will listen without judgement while providing support. Who should use the 988 service? The 988 service is for anyone who is thinking about suicide, or who is worried about someone they know. While suicide prevention is the primary focus of the 988 service, no one will be turned away. Everyone who contacts the 988 service will be assessed for suicide risk. Responders are trained to deal with people going through a range of crises. Who runs the 988 service? The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in Toronto, Ontario is leading and coordinating the delivery of the 988 service nationwide in both English and French. A growing network of more than 40 experienced local, provincial, territorial, and national crisis lines across the country provide lifesaving support to people who call or text 988. When you subscribed and created your plan, you chose your coverage area: provincial (Quebec, Ontario, British Colombia, Alberta or Manitoba), Canada or USA + Canada. If you roam outside your coverage area, you can use your Fizz plan on our partner networks. Log into your account any time to change your coverage area: How to change your plan. Any change will take effect at the start of your next payment cycle. If you selected the provincial coverage in your plan, consider buying a Travel Add-on or an International call Add-on to make your calls to Canada or the United States. The subscription area is the area where you must live to be a Fizz subscriber. Coverage Consult the interactive map Even if you live within our coverage area, that doesn’t mean you can subscribe to Fizz mobile services. You must live within the subscription area. The coverage area you choose determines the expanse of the calls and texts included in your plan. If you choose the Canada coverage for instance, you can make or receive calls anywhere in the country. But with a Quebec coverage, a call made or receive from Vancouver for example would not be included in your plan, and you’d have to buy a Travel Add-on. If you chose unlimited calls when creating your plan, you can make or receive as many calls as you like when you are within your coverage area. Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico are included in the Canada + U.S. coverage area. Exception if you are new to Fizz: The name of the network indicated on your phone will not initially say Fizz. Instead, you will see Fizz EXT. We are aware of this situation and are working to address it. Rest assured, your phone is not roaming, and you will not incur any charges. Your service address is the address where your Home Internet service will be installed. In other words, it’s the location where you will be connecting to and using the Internet. Fizz Home Internet is available to many residential addresses in Quebec and Ontario. The service was created to provide fast, easy, affordable broadband internet to homes, apartments, cottages... in other words, to places where people live. The service is not intended for commercial use — for example, at offices, gyms, workshops, etc.

To find out if you have a Rollover: Go to My Plans in your Fizz account. Under the plan you wish to view (if you have more than one) click on Usage. This will open the Usage screen, which lists all your gifts, Add-Ons, Rollovers, etc. The blue arrow will tell you which data bucket you are currently using. On the right hand side you can see how many days are left for your Rollover. If I buy an Add-On and don’t use all of it by the end of the month, will it roll over? No. Only your basic plan data can be rolled over. If you buy an Add-On, it will expire at the end of your next payment cycle. If I receive a data gift and don’t use all of it by the end of the month, will it roll over? No. Only your basic plan data can be rolled over. If you are gifted data during the month, it will expire at the end of your next payment cycle. For example, say I receive gifted data on May 15, but my payment cycle ends on May 27. That gifted data will therefore be valid up until the end of my next payment cycle on June 27th. Do I keep my rolled-over data if I change my plan? Yes. Regardless of how you decide to change your plan, you keep your rolled-over data. In fact, if you change your coverage, your rolled-over data will be applied to your new coverage.
