What are the details of the Wi-Fi extender pilot project?
The pilot project involving the use of a Wi-Fi extender with one's residential Internet package for three (3) months is by invitation only. Selected Internet members have been contacted by email. By replying YES to the invitation email, participants agree to receive the Wi-Fi extender and to complete the two (2) surveys that will be sent to them. Implications Fizz sends to participants an ARIA 2210 Wi-Fi extender valued at $100. Participants must install and use it for a period of three (3) months with their Fizz Home Internet plan. Once the pilot project is completed, participants keep the Wi-Fi extender. In exchange, participants agree to provide feedback on their use of the Wi-Fi extender via two (2) email surveys. Important: Resale of the Wi-Fi extender is prohibited. This pilot project and the comments received through the surveys remain confidential. During the pilot project, Fizz cannot be held responsible for any breakage, failure or deterioration of service due to the use of this Wi-Fi extender. How do I transfer my current phone number to Fizz?

The most important thing to remember to transfer your phone number over to Fizz is that your plan with your current provider must still be active. Fizz will disconnect your old provider during the transfer process. Note that a number transfer cannot be done on a line that is already active with Fizz. In other words, if you already have a Fizz plan, porting a number to this plan is not possible; you need to create a new plan. Your phone number must be a mobile number. If it's associated with a landline or VOIP, it cannot be transferred over to Fizz. If you encounter an issue with any other type of number, please contact us using the chat bubble at the bottom right of this page so we can verify everything with you. If your number starts with an area code outside the Fizz subscription area , your number cannot be transferred. Important: the voice messages you saved when you were with your other provider will be lost and this even if you transfer your phone number over to Fizz. You need: Your account number. Check your most recent bill from your current provider. See account number formats. OR The IMEI of the active device with your old provider. How do I manage my Fizz account?
When you login to your account, you will see a summary of your status to date. The top navigation on this screen enables you to view and manage different aspects of your account. My Plans to adjust all plans on your account. Your Account Number Your account number can be found on the first page of your service agreement. This document was sent to you by email when you activated your plan. You can also find it through your Fizz account. Go to My Plans > Manage My Plan. How do I activate my SIM card and create my mobile plan?
Activating my SIM First thing first, do you have a Fizz SIM? If your phone is compatible with eSIMs, order, install and activate an eSIM all at the same time. See the steps for an eSIM If you don’t have a SIM card, getting one is really simple. - If you’re buying a phone on fizz.ca, you can add a free SIM card to your order. - If you plan to use your own phone, get a physical SIM card online, or from one of our partner store - If you still have an old VoLTE SIM card that was deactivated, you can use it. Now the activation If you chose to go with an eSIM, you’ll be able to activate it immediately after ordering it. See the details here.
