How can I use my own Wi-Fi router with Fizz?
Disable the Wi-Fi feature of the Fizz Wi-Fi modem In bridge mode, the two (2) Wi-Fi radios built into your Fizz Wi-Fi modem will be deactivated, thus disabling its Wi-Fi capabilities. Open an Internet browser and enter 192.168.0.1 in the address bar. Identify yourself using the following login information: Username: cusadmin Password: **enter your Wi-Fi password** Select Basic Select Gateway Disable the option ''Residential Gateway function'' Click Ok Install your personal Wi-Fi router Connect your personal router as indicated in its user guide. Plug the network cable (RJ45) into one of the four (4) numbered ports of your Fizz Wi-Fi modem. If there's any issue with the connection, restart both devices (the Fizz Wi-Fi modem and your personal router). If you want to re-enable the Wi-Fi capability of your Fizz Wi-Fi modem, you'll need to reset it to its factory settings. Using a small, sharp object, press the modem’s reset button for 10 seconds. • CODA-4680 model: the reset button is located behind the Wi-Fi modem. • CODA-5610Q model: the reset button is located under the Wi-Fi modem. If needed, restart both your modem and personal router This quick video will guide you through each step. But in a nutshell: Unplug the power cable on your Wi-Fi modem. Make sure all the lights on the modem turn off. Wait ten (10) seconds. Plug your modem back into the electrical outlet. Expect a three (3) minute delay to allow your devices to reconnect to the Wi-Fi network. Note: If you are also using a personal router, you'll need to restart it as well. Recommendation: It is more effective to restart your Wi-Fi modem by unplugging its power cable instead of pressing its power button.

How can I change the SIM associated with my mobile plan?
The SIM card (subscriber identification module) is a chip with information that identifies you and connects your phone to the Fizz mobile network. It can be a physical SIM card or an eSIM (if your phone is compatible of course). If you are looking to activate a SIM card for a new plan, and not an existing plan that is already active in your account, head this way > https://fizz.ca/en/faq/activate If you lose or break your SIM, your mobile plan will no longer work. And since your SIM is associated with your plan, it’s important to follow the right steps to replace it. Same goes if you lose your phone. You must change your SIM and associate a new one with your mobile plan. Good to know: You can switch from a physical SIM card to an eSIM, or from an eSIM to a physical SIM card. Important: Once your new SIM is activated, the old one that is currently associated with your plan will be automatically deactivated. How to replace a Fizz SIM If you need to replace your Fizz SIM card but haven’t received it in the mail yet, please contact us. One of our agents will confirm your address with you and can send you a new one, free of charge. 1) Sign in to your account The steps to follow automatically succeed one another in your Fizz account. How do I manage my Fizz account?
When you login to your account, you will see a summary of your status to date. The top navigation on this screen enables you to view and manage different aspects of your account. In the top navigation, click on: Overview to see your usage for this payment cycle. My Settings to manage your referrals, linked accounts, contacts and settings. My Plans to adjust all plans on your account. Your Account Number Your account number can be found on the first page of your service agreement. This document was sent to you by email when you activated your plan. You can also find it through your Fizz account. Go to My Plans > Manage My Plan. The information will be displayed at the top of the page. Your Fizz account number is not your phone number. Your Fizz account number is a unique identifier assigned to your account when you sign up. It is used to manage your account and access your services. Unlike your phone number, which is used for calls and messages, your Fizz account number is essential for interactions with customer service and managing your account online. How do I change my privacy settings inside the Fizz community?
Depending on your privacy settings inside the Fizz community, other members may (or may not) be able to search for you, add you as a contact, and gift you data. When a Fizz member searches for another member inside the community, they will see your first name and phone number. They will never see your full name, email address or other identifying information. How to change your Fizz privacy settings: Go to My Settings in your Fizz account. Scroll to Settings. Click on Privacy. Here you can select one of three privacy options: Full Fizz Experience: By default, other users can search for you, add you as a contact and send you gifts. Private: You can receive gifts from everyone. You cannot be searched or added as a contact. Incognito: You do not accept gifts and cannot be added as a contact. You are incognito and cannot be found via search.
