The payment solution offered by Affirm on fizz.ca varies based on the value of the purchase you’re considering: Pay in 4 for small purchases: The amount of your purchase is equally split over 4 payments. Monthly instalments for large purchases: The amount of your purchase is spread over a period that varies between 12 and 24 months depending on the phone model and your eligibility. How Pay in 4 works. You’ll have four (4) automatic pre-authorized payments charged to your Visa or Mastercard credit or debit card : a first payment when you receive your purchase, and one payment every two weeks after that. Important to know if your plan doesn’t include mobile data If your plan includes no mobile data at all, you cannot receive data from another member. For example, if your plan includes only calls and texts, without data, you won’t be able to use a data gift sent by a friend. If you have unused data in your account, you can gift it to any member who is findable in the Fizz community (in other words, anyone who is not in Incognito mode), and whose plan includes data. You can choose to randomly gift data any time. Or, you can wait until it’s almost the end of your payment cycle and gift data before it rolls over. Learn about Rollovers If you want to gift unused data at the end of your payment cycle, you can gift it right before your current payment cycle ends. Once this cycle is over, however, the data will roll over — it will no longer be available to send as a gift. You cannot take back or unsend a data gift. Once you click Send, your gifted data is permanently removed from your plan. How do I gift data to another Member? To send a gift: Go to My Plans in your Fizz account. Scroll to the plan (if you have more than one in your account) that you want to gift from. Click Gift. On the next screen, choose Start gifting. Choose a contact or search for a new Fizz member who you want to gift to. This will open the gifting tool. * Select the amount of data you wish to gift and click Next. Customize a message to the recipient and click Send. * If you select an email or referral code from your contact list, data will be given to

Log into your Fizz account. Everything is under My settings. Changing your email address. The email address associated with your Fizz account is where you receive communications from Fizz, including administrative emails. It is therefore imperative to keep this address up to date in your account. To change your email address, contact us using the chat bubble located in the lower right-hand corner of this FAQ. Once your identity is confirmed, the rep will make the change for you. An email will then be sent to your new address to confirm the change. Y ou’ll have 24 hours to take action. After that, the link won’t work, and you’ll have to contact us again. If you do end up doing this a few times, use the link in the most recent email. The other, previous links won’t work. Once the change is completed, your new address will be the one to use to access your Fizz account. Your Fizz communications will also be sent to this new email address. Changing your password. If you are connected to your Fizz account, go under My settings. There, you’ll see the fields to enter your current and new passwords. If you forgot your password and cannot log into your account, go to the Fizz login page and use the link for a forgotten password. How to choose a good password, and protect it: Use a mix of letters, numbers, and special characters to create your password. Make the password difficult to guess: Do not use known words, names of friends or pets, your date of birth, etc. Use a different password for every application you use. Do not tell your friends or family your password. Do not write your passwords on a piece of paper next to your computer or in a file

With Visual voicemail, your messages are literally at your finger tips. You listen and manage your messages by selecting them directly on your phone screen, without having to “call” your voicemail. Is my plan ready? Your mobile plan must include the Voicemail option, as well as data. Visual voicemail is now the basic voicemail for our mobile plans. So whatever name you see, Voicemail or Visual voicemail, know that we're referring to the same thing, Visual voicemail. How to add the Voicemail option to my mobile plan How to configure my phone. Note that a number transfer cannot be done on a line that is already active with Fizz. In other words, if you already have a Fizz plan, porting a number to this plan is not possible; you need to create a new plan. As outlined below, there are several possible reasons for this situation. You will receive an email, as well as an in-account notification explaining the glitch pertaining to your situation, and the next steps to address it. To check your in-account notifications, sign into your account and click on the bell icon next to your name. icon next to your name. Wrong IMEI or account number. Your phone IMEI or your account number with your current provider, whichever one you chose to use, is incorrect. Perhaps you mistyped it when entering it. To correct and redo your phone number transfer request, follow these steps: Verify your information: Ensure that all your personal information (name, address, phone number) is correct and up to date. Resend the request: We have sent you an email containing a link to restart your request. Follow the instructions: Click on the link and restart your request to complete the transfer of your number. To find the IMEI, dial *#06# on the phone you are using with your current provider. If the IMEI number is more than 15 digits long, only use the first 15. If you’re using your account number, check your most recent bill from your current provider. See account number formats. The transfer authorization failed. When you activate your SIM (eSIM or physical SIM card) a nd request to transfer your number over to Fizz, your current provider sends the owner of the phone number (probably you) a text with a transfer authorization request. Some text messages sent by businesses such as 2-step verification messages may not be sent to your phone properly. We continue to gradually roll out this type of service so that it operates optimally with as many companies as possible. Make sure you are in a zone that has adequate coverage. Learn about accessing our partner network Troubleshooting: Make sure your plan includes text messages Log into your account to access the text message activation tool. If your plan does not include text messages, it will be impossible for you to send texts on your phone. You can adjust your plan up to 72 hours before the end of your payment cycle to add text messaging. This change to your plan will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You can also add minutes to your plan and use them immediately by buying an Add-On for local or long-distance calls. Restart your phone Reboot (power cycle) your phone by holding down the phone’s start button for 10 seconds. After you reboot, your applications will reload. Your phone will then re-authenticate to the Fizz mobile network. This will allow your phone to recover its authorization to access the network. Do you use a native application? Make sure you are using your phone’s native messaging app. If you are using a non-native application to send your messages, it’s possible that the issue originates with this app. These messaging apps may have their own server or messaging centre.
