ENTRY RULES
The Fizz x IglooFest Gatineau contest is held by Fizz mobile (the “Contest Organizer”). The Contest begins on January 20th , 2025 at 12:00 p.m. and ends on January 31st , 2025 at 11:59 (the “Contest Period”). All times indicated in these Rules are Eastern Standard Time.

ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to Quebec residents aged 18 or over. Employees, officers, directors, mandataries, agents and other representatives of the Contest Organizer and Contest Sponsor (if applicable), their affiliates, divisions and subsidiaries, their promotional and advertising agencies, partners, participating merchants, suppliers of prizes, material and services related to the Contest and any other stakeholder directly involved in the Contest, any person residing with the persons identified above, members of their immediate family (brother, sister, child, mother, father) and their legal or commonlaw spouse are not eligible to enter the Contest.

Odds of winning depend on the number of valid entries received. Odds of winning may vary.
Entry via alternative method (the “Alternative Method”):
Any person may enter the Contest by sending a 100-word letter explaining why they deserve to win a prize in the Contest and provide their exact contact information, including their last name, first name, address, telephone number where they can be reached on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. and email address. The letter must be sent to the following address and must be received by January 31th , 2025 at 11:59:

Entrants must respect the following limits; otherwise, the Contest Organizer reserves the right to cancel their entry in the Contest:
For greater clarity, only one Instagram of Facebook account per entrant is allowed, in the event that a person has more than one.
Participants cannot enter the Contest both by Electronic Method and by Alternative Method for the same entry.

PRIZES

The following prizes are offered as part of the competition:
Four (4) pairs of Igloo Passes and eight (8) IglooFest Vintage beanies. Igloo Passes give access to the site for all three days of the event, from February 13 to 15, and to all shows. Each pass is worth $115, each beanie is worth $24, and each of the four (4) winners will receive two passes and two Vintage beanies for a prize worth $278.
Cumulative value of all prizes awarded in this Contest: $1,112,
All values indicated in these Contest Rules are inclusive of taxes. -
The following conditions apply to the prize(s):
Prizes are non-exchangeable and non-transferable. All expenses and costs not provided for in these Contest Rules are the responsibility of the winner. The Grand Prize must be accepted as awarded.

DRAW
On February 3rd , 2025, at 12:00 p.m., in Montreal, at the Contest Organizer's office, one (1) Entry Ballot will be randomly selected from all entries registered in accordance with these Contest Rules to award the prizes.
There is a limit of one prize per person for the duration of the Contest.
The odds of a participant’s Entry Form being drawn at random depends on the number of Entry Forms registered in accordance with these Rules.

PRIZE CLAIM

To be declared a winner, any person whose Entry Form is drawn at random must:

Comply with the eligibility and entry criteria set out in these Rules; and

Be reached by e-mail by the Contest Organizer within 5 days following the random draw of their Entry Form. Winners will be contacted by direct message on Facebook or Instagram. It is the responsibility of each participant to participate with a valid Instagram or Facebook account and to be attentive to Fizz's communications for the announcement of the winners.

Failure to comply with any of the conditions mentioned in the preceding paragraph of these Rules and Regulations will result in the selected entrant's entry being cancelled and a new draw for this prize will be held in accordance with these Rules and Regulations until an entrant is selected and declared a winner.

All winners must sign a declaration and liability release form (hereinafter the “Declaration Form”), which will be emailed to them by the Contest Organizer and submit it to the Contest Organizer at the time and location indicated by the Contest Organizer when confirming the prize. Failure to submit the Declaration Form in accordance with this paragraph will cause the winner to forfeit the prize. For greater clarity, no new draw will be held for the said prize. Therefore, the awarding of the prize will be cancelled and the Contest Organizer and the Contest Sponsor (if applicable) will be released from all obligations with respect to the awarding of such prize.

The Contest Organizer will notify all winners by email of how to take possession of their prize. Where all or part of a prize is delivered by mail, the Contest Organizer and the Contest Sponsor (if applicable) will not be liable for any delivery delays or for lost or stolen prizes, including at the time of, and in connection with, the awarding of the prize.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

Verification. Entry Forms are subject to verification by the Contest Organizer. Entry Forms that are incomplete, incomprehensible, fraudulent, sent late, contain a human or mechanical error or do not contain the correct answer to the Contest Organizer’s question, as the case may be, will automatically be rejected and the entrant will not be entitled to a prize. The Contest Organizer will therefore proceed to a new draw if such an Entry Form is drawn.

Non-compliant entry. The Contest Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any person or cancel the entry of any person entering or attempting to enter the Contest by any means contrary to these Rules or in a manner that is unfair towards the other entrants (e.g., entries exceeding the permitted limits, automated entries, hacking, etc.). Such a person may be reported to the competent legal authorities.

Prize substitution. If, for reasons unrelated to a winner, the Contest Organizer and the Contest Sponsor (if applicable) are unable to award a prize (or part of a prize) as described in these Rules, they reserve the right to award a prize (or part of a prize) of the same kind and of equal value, or, at their sole discretion, the cash value of the prize (or part of the prize), net of applicable taxes, if any, as stated in the Rules.

Refusal to accept a prize. In the event that a person selected at random refuses to accept a prize in accordance with the terms and conditions of these Rules, the Contest Organizer and the Contest Sponsor (if applicable) will be released from all obligations towards such person in relation to the prize.

Limitation of liability — Entrant. To the fullest extent permitted by law, each Contest entrant releases the Contest Organizer and the Contest Sponsor (if applicable), their affiliates, divisions and subsidiaries, their promotional and advertising agencies, their employees, agents, officers, directors, mandataries and other representatives (collectively, the “Releasees”) from any and all liability relating to any loss or damage (i) arising directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from the malfunction of any computer component, software or communication line or from any faulty, incomplete, incomprehensible or deleted transmission through any computer or network that may limit the possibility of, or prevent any person from, entering the Contest; (ii) that may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by downloading any web page, software or form or by transmitting any information to enter the Contest; and (iii) that the entrant suffers or may suffer and arising, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from the entrant’s entry in or attempt to enter the Contest.

Limitation of liability — Winner. To the fullest extent permitted by law, each winner releases the Releasees from any and all liability relating to any loss or damage they may suffer, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, in connection with the acceptance and/or use of the prize. To be declared a winner and prior to obtaining their prize, any person selected as a winner undertakes to sign the Declaration Form for that purpose.

Liability of prize suppliers. Any person selected for a prize acknowledges that, upon signature of the Declaration Form, performance of the services related to the prize becomes the sole and exclusive responsibility of the prize supplier.

Inability to act – Labour dispute. The Releasees will not be liable in any way whatsoever in cases where their inability to act is due to an event or situation beyond their control, or a strike, lockout or other labour dispute in their establishment or in the establishments of the organizations or companies whose services are used for the Contest.

Modification. The Contest Organizer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest, in whole or in part, if an event, error or human intervention corrupts or affects the administration, security, impartiality or normal conduct of the Contest as provided for in these Rules, subject to approval by the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec, if required. In all cases, the Contest Organizer and the Contest Sponsor (if applicable) cannot be required to award more prizes than those stated in these Rules or to award prizes in any manner other than in accordance with these Rules.

Authorization. By entering the Contest, any winner authorizes the Contest Organizer and the Contest Sponsor (if applicable), their affiliates, divisions and subsidiaries, their partners and representatives and any person duly authorized by the Contest Organizer to use, if necessary, their name, photograph, image, statement regarding the prize, place of residence, voice and any material submitted as part of the Contest without any form of compensation, at their discretion and without any restrictions as to the period of use, in any media worldwide, for advertising or any other purposes.

Communication with entrants. No communication or correspondence will be exchanged with entrants in connection with the Contest, except with those selected for a prize.

Decisions of the Contest Organizer. All decisions of the Contest Organizer or its representatives regarding the Contest are final and without appeal, subject to any decision by the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec in relation to matters under its jurisdiction.

Litigation. Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the board only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.

Identity of entrant. For the purposes of these Rules, the entrant is the person whose name appears on the Entry Form, and it is to this person that the prize will be awarded if they are selected and declared the winner.

Ownership. The Entry Forms, Declaration Forms as well as any other document or material provided by entrants as part of the Contest are the property of the Contest Organizer and will not, under any circumstances, be returned to entrants. All intellectual property and promotional material (including web pages and source code) are the property of the Contest Organizer, its affiliates, divisions and subsidiaries or are used under licence. All rights reserved. Reproduction or unauthorized use of material protected by copyright or trademark without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.

No affiliation. This Contest is not in any way affiliated with, endorsed, presented, sponsored or organized by Facebook or any other social media.

Rules. The Contest Rules are available throughout the Contest Period at the offices of Fizz mobile, located at 612 St-Jacques, Montréal, Québec, H3C 4M8, and in the contest section of the following website: https://fizz.ca/contest

Winners. The Contest winners’ names will be available at the Contest Organizer’s offices located at 612 St-Jacques, Montréal, Québec, H3C 4M8 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., at the latest two (2) days after the draw and for a minimum of ten (10) days.

Personal information. The personal information you provide to the Contest Organizer in connection with the Contest is provided by you voluntarily. By entering the Contest, you agree to the collection and use of your personal information by the Contest Organizer (including, without limitation, if applicable, disclosure to the Contest Sponsor and any party involved in the Contest) for the administration of the Contest. Such personal information is subject to the following Privacy Policy: https://fizz.ca/en/privacy. No communication, commercial or other, unrelated to the Contest will be sent to entrants by the Contest Organizer, except if the entrant has otherwise permitted such communication, if applicable, by checking the relevant box on the Entry Form or if permitted under the Privacy Policy or by applicable law.

Language. In the event of any discrepancies between the English and French versions of these Rules, if applicable, the French version shall prevail.
