Sign in to your account and go to My Plans > Manage plan > Change plan and add voicemail. This change will come into effect at the beginning of your next payment cycle as per the plan change policy. Accessing your voicemail Hold the ''1'' key on your phone for a few seconds. Good to know: - This shortcut to your voicemail that is the “1” key is actually a call forward to the messaging centre configured for most phone models. This feature may vary from one model to another and may not be modifiable in all phones. - If you are forwarding your calls to another number, your voicemail won’t pick up incoming calls and no one will be able to leave you a message. How do I use pay as you go?
Good to know: Offers, services and prices are subject to change without notice and may differ by province. In the case of the Fizz Wallet, it is only offered in Quebec. Pay as you go tarifs depends on whether you’ll be using it for usage inside or outside your coverage zone. Inside your coverage zone To use pay as you go for texts, calls or international calls when inside your coverage area: Go to My Plans in your Fizz account. If you have more than one plan, scroll to the plan you wish to modify. Click the Manage button. This will open the Manage interface. Click on Wallet. Remember: Pay As You Go works only if there are funds in your Wallet! If your balance is empty or low, click on Add money to your wallet Outside your coverage zone To use pay as you go for data, calls, text and international calls for roaming outside your coverage zone: Go to My Plans in your Fizz account. If you have more than one plan, scroll to the plan you wish to modify. Click the Manage button. This will open the Manage interface. Click on Travel. Enter the name of the main country you will be travelling to (If you’re visiting more than one country, tell us where you will be spending the most time.) On the next screen, select Pay As You Go. What do I do if my return request or warranty claim is denied?
Why is my request denied? There are several reasons why a return request or warranty claim can be denied. Your phone did not meet all of the conditions for a return. These conditions are detailed and explained in the online return request. The person submitting the return request checked a box to certify and confirm they had read and agreed to these conditions. Read the condition The required steps to prepare your phone for its return were not completed correctly. Technicians were not able to access your phone to inspect it. Read the steps In the case of a warranty claim, the issue for which you submitted a claim is not covered by the warranty Read the warranty details What happens when my request is denied? As outlined in the conditions you reviewed and agreed to before returning your phone, if your request is denied, you will be invoiced the administrative fee (an amount of $75 plus applicable taxes). This amount will be invoiced using the credit card you entered when submitting your online return request. Once the administrative fee has been processed, we’ll send you back your phone. How do I subscribe to the T911 service?
The T911 service enables people who are living with an auditory or speech disability to communicate with the 911 emergency service using text messaging. Activate the T911 service in > My plans > Manage > Advanced parameters. If you have more than one plan on your account, the T911 service must be activated for each relevant plan. To use the T911 service you must: Have an active Fizz mobile account Have a phone compatible with the T911 service Activate the service in > My plans > Manage > Advanced parameters Reside where the T911 service is available It can take up to 5 business days to process your request for T911 service. If accepted, you will receive a text message confirming the activation of the service. If you have not received a text message after 5 working days, please notify us by chat or by using the Proof of disability form. Although the T911 service is currently available in only a limited number of regions in Canada, you can still sign up for it. The 911 emergency dispatcher will send you a text message. Continue the communication via text message. Do not hang up! Your call must be active for the full duration of the T911 text conversation. I can’t send or receive text messages (SMS). Why?
IMPORTANT: Text messaging service (SMS) can take between one (1) and twenty-four (24) hours to be functional if your mobile line has just been activated on Fizz's mobile network. Some text messages sent by businesses such as 2-step verification messages may not be sent to your phone properly. We continue to gradually roll out this type of service so that it operates optimally with as many companies as possible. Make sure you are in a zone that has adequate coverage. See our network coverage map If you are outside the Fizz network, you can connect via our partner network. Learn about accessing our partner network Troubleshooting: Make sure your plan includes text messages Log into your account to access the text message activation tool. If your plan does not include text messages, it will be impossible for you to send texts on your phone. You can adjust your plan up to 108 hours before the end of your payment cycle to add text messaging. This change to your plan will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You can also add minutes to your plan and use them immediately by buying an Add-On for local or long-distance calls. Restart your phone Reboot (power cycle) your phone by holding down the phone’s start button for 10 seconds. After you reboot, your applications will reload. Your phone will then re-authenticate to the Fizz mobile network. This will allow your phone to recover its authorization to access the network. Do you use a native application? Make sure you are using your phone’s native messaging app. If you are using a non-native application to send your messages, it’s possible that the issue originates with this app. These messaging apps may have their own server or messaging centre.
