You are traveling outside your coverage area? In this case, you probably need a travel add-on. Please see this FAQ : I’m travelling outside my coverage area. What are my options? What is an Add-on? An Add-On is additional data, minutes, text or minutes for international calls that you can add onto your current monthly plan. An Add-on must be used when you are within your coverage area. Thus, the Add-on for international calling minutes will allow you to make a call from your coverage area to the country in question. If you leave on a trip abroad, you will not be able to use these minutes once you arrive at your destination. To add an extra to your mobile plan, use this link: My plans > Manage > The extras > Add-ons Add-Ons are useful if you’re running low on monthly data or minutes, or if you want to add a feature, such as international calling, that’s not part of your current monthly plan. Buy an Add-On when you need more data, minutes, text or minutes for international call coverage than your current monthly plan allows. Add-Ons take effect immediately. How long does it take to activate an Add-On? How long does it last? Add-Ons are active immediately. They’re valid until the end of your next payment cycle. They are not subject to the 108-hour (4.5-day) freeze period. In other words, if there are 10 days left on your current payment cycle, your Add-On will be valid for approximately 40 days. FAQ
Is it possible to transfer my plan to another account?
The short answer, unfortunately, is no. At the moment, it is not possible to transfer a Fizz plan (or a phone number) from one Fizz account to another Fizz account. For both mobile plans and residential Internet plans, our systems do not allow the transfer from one account to another. It is also not possible to group multiple accounts. However, these are features we are working on. For a child who has grown up. If you had created a plan in your account for your child, and your child is now grown up and would like to stand on his own, he must first create his Fizz account. Once his account is created, he needs to create himself a new plan. In other words, he can't retrieve the plan he had in your account, whether it was a mobile or Internet plan. For 2 people living at the same address. For an internet plan For example, your roommate leaves but you stay in the apartment, and the Internet plan is activated in your roommate’s Fizz account. Your roommate cannot transfer the plan to you. He needs to unsubscribe from his plan (or submit a move request) and you’ll have to activate your own Home Internet plan at this address from your Fizz account. For a mobile plan For example, in the case of a separation, if both mobile plans are under the same Fizz account, it is unfortunately not possible at this time to transfer one of the numbers to a different Fizz account. Each plan remains tied to the account where it was originally activated.

FAQ
Your phone shuts down by itself or reboots in a loop
Make sure the power button doesn’t remain pressed If your phone’s power button remains pressed, it could shut down your phone, or be the reason it reboots in a loop. The issue could be caused by a protective case (or any other equipment of that nature) that applies pressure on the button without your knowledge. Charge your battery completely When the phone cannot store enough charge, it could reboot in a loop or shut down. Check that this is not an issue with a damaged electric cable. Test with another cable to make sure. You can also test the charge by removing the power supply block, and connecting the USB end (Type A) into a compatible device. Check that the cable works well by trying to charge another phone if you have one. Restore your phone to its factory settings IMPORTANT: Save all media, contacts, apps and text messages that are archived and want to keep before proceeding. Some of your phone’s parameters will need to be reconfigured after: mobile data blocking, NPA, Wi-Fi settings, Bluetooth function etc. The steps to follow to reset your network settings will vary depending on the type of phone. Here are two examples: Android: Applications → Settings → General management → Reset → Reset settings → Click on Reset settings iPhone: Settings → General → Reset → Erase all content and settings Check whether the issue is still there before configuring and personalizing your phone, or installing apps. Perhaps you’re due for a new phone? If your phone is a little outdated, refreshing it may be a more affordable solution than you think. We have phones, new or Preloved, to fit every budget. Subscription area versus coverage area
Mobile services are available in the provinces of Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta, and British Columbia. To check if your address is located in an area where the subscription is available and to get more details about the coverage, please refer to our dynamic coverage map. What is the difference between my coverage area and subscription area? Your coverage area is where you can use your Fizz plan without paying roaming fees. When you subscribed and created your plan, you chose your coverage area: provincial (Quebec, Ontario, British Colombia, Alberta or Manitoba), Canada or USA + Canada. If you roam outside your coverage area, you can use your Fizz plan on our partner networks. Log into your account any time to change your coverage area: How to change your plan.
