With the Fizz Wi-Fi app and another device If you used the Fizz Wi-Fi app with another device, you’ll be able to share your password from that device. Take this other device, and open the Fizz Wi-Fi app. On top of the screen, click on Share Wi-Fi. From there, you’ll have several choices to share your Wi-Fi network. With your mobile If you have a mobile phone connected to your Wi-Fi network, follow these instructions : Make sure you're connected to your Wi-Fi Network. Open Settings Click on Connexion (or Wi-Fi on iOS) Click on Wi-Fi Click on the gear wheel icon located on the right of your network's name (or on the i on iOS) Click on the eye to unveil your Wi-Fi network password (or on Password on iOS) With a computer If you have a computer connected to your Wi-Fi network, follow these instructions Make sure you're connected to your Wi-Fi Network. Open the list of available Wi-Fi networks. Select Network and Internet Settings. Click on Network and Sharing Center. Select the Internet connection named as your Wi-Fi network. Select Wireless Properties. On the Security tab, click to show the characters. As a last resort If none of the above options work out for you, your last resort option is to restore your Wi-Fi modem to its factory settings. IMPORTANT: This will reset any changes that have been made to your Wi-Fi modem settings to date. You may also need to reconfigure your devices’ Wi-Fi settings (network name, password, etc.). Data rollover is worth its weight in gold—unused data from one month rolls over to the next. You know what that means, right? You can adjust your mobile plan to pay for less data. How to check if I have a rollover Activate your upgrades. Thanks to your upgrades from the My Reward Program, you have the opportunity to boost the value of your plan every month. Activating an upgrade for free mobile data each month for example, means you could decrease the data you actually pay for in your mobile plan. How to activate an upgrade Check if you have perks. Your perks are single-use items offered as part of the My Rewards program—for example, 500 MB of mobile data valid for 30 days once activated. You can choose to apply all your perks at once, or spread them out. Then, adjust your plan to save precious dollars. How to apply a perk Data gifting is always appreciated. Which mobile plan am I allowed? The beauty of buying a phone with Fizz is that there are no restrictions on your Fizz mobile plan : You create the mobile plan you want, whether it’s big or small, to go with the phone you choose. You can change your plan as many times as you like. You are not stuck, and only pay for what you need each month. Did you know you can get a discount on your mobile plan for 24 months? As you shop for a phone, new or Preloved, look for the phones identified with a purple stamp to get a discount for your plan for 24 months. If you have lots of unused data on a given month for instance, that data will roll over to the following month. So you may choose to reduce the amount of data included in your plan (and therefore pay less for that month) to benefit from that rolled over data. New and Preloved phones Fizz offers a wide range of phones, new or refurbished, from smart models to flip phones. A new phone is, well, brand-new, and comes with the manufacturer’s warranty . Look up warranty details. A Preloved phone is not brand-new, but it’s a great alternative if you’re looking for a great phone but don’t want to pay full price. Preloved phones come with a warranty of 6 months. Look up warranty details. There are two (2) categories of Preloved phones: Perfect Almost perfect A Perfect phone was slightly used. You might see some negligible traces of wear if you look closely. An Almost perfect phone was previously used, but is in very good condition. You know, those little details that just seem hidden somewhere? Well, here you go! Coverage Consult the interactive map Even if you live in a region that is part of our coverage area, it does not necessarily mean that you will be able to subscribe to Fizz mobile services. You must first live within the subscription area. The coverage area you choose (regardless of the province) determines where your calls and text messages are included. • Canada coverage: your incoming and outgoing calls are included anywhere in the country. • Provincial coverage (e.g., Quebec, Ontario, etc.): your incoming and outgoing calls are included only when you are in the selected province. Things to remember: – If you receive a call while you are within your coverage area, the call is included, regardless of the province or country the call is coming from. – If you make or receive a call while you are outside your coverage area, the call is not included and will not be completed. Solution: To make or receive calls outside your coverage area, you must add a Travel Add‑On. – If you are physically inside your coverage area and make a call to a destination outside your coverage area, the call is not included and will not be completed. Solution: To call outside your coverage area, you must add an International Calling Add‑On. If you selected unlimited calls when creating your plan, you can make and receive as many calls as you like while you are in your coverage area. For a mobile plan, you only need to plan for the purchase of a Fizz SIM card. For a Home Internet plan, the Wi-Fi modem is included, and so is the self-installation. That means you only pay for your plan—nothing else. And don’t forget, you can change your mobile or Internet plan at any time, ensuring you pay only for what you truly need each month.
