Depending on your privacy settings inside the Fizz community, other members may (or may not) be able to search for you, add you as a contact, and gift you data. When a Fizz member searches for another member inside the community, they will see your first name and phone number. They will never see your full name, email address or other identifying information. How to change your Fizz privacy settings: Go to My Settings in your Fizz account. Scroll to Settings. Click on Privacy. Here you can select one of three privacy options: Full Fizz Experience: By default, other users can search for you, add you as a contact and send you gifts. Private: You can receive gifts from everyone. You cannot be searched or added as a contact. Incognito: You do not accept gifts and cannot be added as a contact. You are incognito and cannot be found via search.

When you are outside your usual coverage area and try to use your phone, you must connect to a mobile network that is available in that location and compatible with your device. If you are traveling, here are your roaming options. Troubleshooting: Is there mobile data in your plan? If your plan does not include data, you will not be able to connect to the Fizz mobile internet network. 1. You can adjust your plan to extend you data coverage to all Canada or Canada+US : this change comes into effect at the start of your next billing cycle. 2. You can also add data to your plan and use them right away by buying a Travel data Add-on. 3. Remember that you can also access the internet by connecting to a WiFi network. 4. If you are travelling, depending on the country you are visiting, you may be able to add money to your wallet to pay as you go. Your phone has a software switch that allows you to connect or disconnect from the Fizz mobile network. By doing this, you can allow or prevent your phone from using mobile data. The steps to follow to enable your phone to use mobile data vary depending on the model of your phone. Subscribing to Fizz Home Internet is a breeze, but here are a few pointers. Your home address Whether it’s your house, cottage or apartment, we need the address where you would like to have our Home Internet services installed. This step is crucial to check if the Fizz Home Internet service is available at your place. As you start to type in your address, the field will autofill with address proposals. Make sure you pick the right one, all the way down to your apartment number if applicable. If you placed an order with an incorrect address, the order must be cancelled and placed again with the correct address. Know that Fizz services unfortunately cannot be used for commercial purposes or in the operation of a business. Our Internet service is not available at your address? It is for many residential addresses in Quebec and in Clarence-Rockland (ON) region and, over time, may be for more and more postal codes.
