How do I protect my account from phishing, identity theft or other types of fraud?
Scam artists excel at giving their messages an official look, even going as far as reproducing the logos and web pages of respected companies. Their main objective is to obtain personal information for the purpose of stealing the identity of a user. There is no sure way to protect yourself from any type of fraud such as phishing or identity theft. The best solution involves taking precautions such as the ones listed here, Secure your passwords. Most people use the same password for all their applications and the same four- or five-number PIN for their bank accounts and credit cards. Since there are bots that can guess passwords, your identity could easily be stolen, as well as all the files on your computer if your password is too easy to guess. How to choose a good password, and protect it: Use a mix of letters, numbers, and special characters to create your password. Make the password difficult to guess: Do not use known words, names of friends or pets, your date of birth, etc. Use a different password for every application you use. Do not tell your friends or family your password. Do not write your passwords on a piece of paper next to your computer or in a file called “Passwords” at your workstation. Change your passwords regularly. How to change the password for my Fizz account. Report a fraudulent activity. What is a Rollover and how does it work?
Nobody likes losing something they’ve paid for. Which is exactly why we roll over your unused data at the end of each month. There’s nothing you need to do — your unused data is automatically rolled over to the next month at the end of each payment cycle. Rolled over data lasts for the two following payment cycles, even if you change your plan. It’s always used before your monthly data. So if you have rolled over data, you’ll use it up first and then move onto the data in your regular plan Please note that minutes are not transferable. Can I gift my unused data instead of having it roll over? Yes. You can gift any unused data when you’re near the end of your payment cycle. You can only gift data from your current payment cycle, and it must be gifted before your payment cycle ends (before your data rolls over). Learn about gifting data When to expect a Rollover When does my unused data roll over? Your unused data will roll over at the end of each payment cycle. To see when your payment cycle ends: Go to My Plans in your Fizz account. Under each plan (if you have more than one), you will be able to see how much time is left in your current payment cycle. When does rolled over data expire How do I know when my rolled over data will expire? Each batch of rolled over data will expire after two (2) complete payment cycles, and this even if you change your plan. To see when a Rollover will expire: Go to My Plans in your Fizz account. Under the plan you wish to view (if you have more than one) click on See Usage. This will open the Usage screen, which

Why is VoLTE important?
The withdrawal of the 3G network will start July 31, 2025, for Fizz and several of its partners. All calls made with your Fizz mobile plan will then go through the LTE-4G network thanks to VoLTE technology. Mobile members who are not VoLTE-compatible, due to their SIM or their phone, will eventually experience service degradation until they can no longer make or receive calls, including to 9-1-1. To maintain the quality of your mobile service, check your VoLTE compatibility as soon as possible: Use a VoLTE-compatible SIM card or an eSIM (if your phone allows it). Use a phone that is VoLTE-compatible at Fizz. Activate the VoLTE function on your phone. IMPORTANT: If any of these criteria is not met, none of your c alls (including 911 calls) will go through once the 3G network has been completely removed To learn more about the withdrawal of the 3G network in Canada, visit the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) website, and the Canadian Telecommunications Association website. What is VoLTE? VoLTE stands for Voice over LTE, which basically means a phone call will use the LTE-4G network. The opportunity to use the LTE-4G network for your calls means: Improved sound quality for your calls. Faster routing of your calls, meaning the delay for the phone to ring at the other end will be shorter. Reduced interruptions when you go from the Fizz network to a partner network. Do the test As 3G network withdrawal is gradual, your calls may work in some places, but not in others. The best way to find out if you're ready for 3G network withdrawal is to do the test. Dial #TEST (#8378) on your mobile phone from the locations where you usually make calls and listen to the voicemail. If you hear confirmation that your

How do I set up and use my voicemail?
Voicemail allows people to leave you a message if your phone is off, the line is busy, or there is no answer after four rings (20 seconds). You can listen to your messages at any time from your mobile phone or an analogue phone. Voicemail includes Visual messaging. Visual voicemail is like a power-boosted voicemail. You can listen to and manage your messages without having to "call" your voicemail. Available for IOS and Android phones. Discover the magic of visual voicemail: What’s Visual voicemail, and how does it work? | Fizz Adding voicemail Voicemail is an option you must add to your plan. Sign in to your account and go to My Plans > Manage plan > Change plan and add voicemail. This change will come into effect at the beginning of your next payment cycle as per the plan change policy. Good to know: To use your voicemail, your plan must include minutes. If not, you won’t be able to use it or access it, whether from your mobile phone or any other phone. Accessing your voicemail Hold the ''1'' key on your phone for a few seconds. Good to know: - This shortcut to your voicemail that is the “1” key is actually a call forward to the messaging centre configured for most phone models. This feature may vary from one model to another and may not be modifiable in all phones. - If you are forwarding your calls to another number, your voicemail won’t pick up incoming calls and no one will be able to leave you a message. - Voicemail access is available when you are outside Canada and the United States by using a Voice Travel Add-on. To manually access your voicemail, dial 1-514-647-0999. The PIN (customize, reset or deactivate) Reminder: Once the voicemail option

What do I receive with the My Rewards program?
Why activate your upgrades? Leaving your upgrades inactivated is like leaving money on the table. EACH MONTH. Watch our video and see how easy activating your upgrades is. Everything is done in seconds, directly in your account. Video Once activated, an upgrade is recurring and you will therefore automatically benefit from it every month. The upgrades Each time you reach a new level in the My Rewards program, you unlock a new upgrade. An upgrade is a long-term reward that boosts your plan every month, like additional mobile data or a monthly discount on the price of your Home Internet plan. Please note that if the bonus is added during your 3-day freeze period before the end of your billing cycle, it will only be activated in the following billing cycle. Since the billing is already visible on your account, this is why you will need to wait for the next cycle for the bonus to take effect. Once activated on your plan, you get to enjoy your upgrade each and every month. Each Fizz plan has three (3) slots on which an upgrade can be applied. The number of unlocked slots ready to welcome an upgrade varies based on your My Rewards level. If you have more than one slot available on a plan, the upgrades you’ll assign to that plan will be cumulative, making your plan even richer. Can I gift my upgrades to another Fizz member, or transfer them from month to month? Your upgrades are yours, and yours alone. You cannot gift your upgrades to another Fizz member. An upgrade, however, gets the same preferential treatment as your plan. As such, if you activate a mobile data upgrade on your plan and you don’t use all its data within a payment cycle, the unused data will

How do I choose my phone number?
Choosing your phone number is the third step in getting your mobile plan up and running. Once you have your Fizz SIM card, enter fizz.ca/activate directly into the address bar of your web browser. Once there, simply enter the activation code on your SIM card in the field provided. This step leads to the Plan Wizard, which enables you to configure your phone plan. Ask Fizz to give you a new number. Find a number by entering the last 4 digits. (This option has a one-time $1 fee.) Troubleshooting: I’m having issues with my Fizz TV channels. What do I do?
Check your signal Remember, no Internet means no TV. Your TV channels are delivered over your Fizz Home Internet connection. This means you may need to create a new Roku account, reset your Roku device and link the device to your new account. Refer to your device instructions. Android TV/Android mobile: In Google Play Store > Settings > General > Account and Device Preferences > Country and Profiles > Select “Canada”. Amazon Fire TV: Sign in to your Amazon account linked to the Firestick > Accounts and Lists > Content and Devices > Preferences > Country/Region Settings > Change > Select “Canada”.
