Starter Kit The box contains the following items: The Wi-Fi modem (CODA-4680 or CODA-5610Q for the 940 mbps plan only) A coaxial cable A power cord An ethernet cable The ethernet cable is included in the box with your modem, but it is not required to set up your Wi-Fi network. Connect the coaxial cable The coaxial cable must be properly screwed in on both ends. Connect the power cord The power cord must be properly connected to the Wi-Fi modem and wall outlet (avoid using a power strip). IMPORTANT: Once it’s plugged in, your Wi-Fi modem will make its first system update, and may need to reboot after roughly 15 minutes. Make sure your modem is ready A series of lights will appear on your modem. Make sure they match this image. Write down your modem’s info Locate the network name (Default Wi-Fi Network) and password (Default Key) printed on the back of your Wi-Fi modem: CODA-4680 model: look at the back. CODA-5610Q model: look under. Make sure not to confuse similar characters such as O and 0, as well as I and 1. Before proceeding to the next step, check the available networks on a Wi-Fi-enabled device like a mobile phone and check that the FIZZ network name as indicated on your modem appears in the list of available networks. This may take a few minutes. Configure your modem Select the name of your Wi-Fi network from the list of networks available to your Wi-Fi enabled device and enter the password. Your Web browser will open*. You will be redirected to the "Easy Connect" interface. Follow the on-screen steps. *You may need to open your Web browser manually. To change the name of your network: Open your browser and enter 192.168.0.1 in the address bar. Use these credentials

With the Fizz Wi-Fi app and another device If you used the Fizz Wi-Fi app with another device, you’ll be able to share your password from that device. Take this other device, and open the Fizz Wi-Fi app. On top of the screen, click on Share Wi-Fi. From there, you’ll have several choices to share your Wi-Fi network. With your mobile If you have a mobile phone connected to your Wi-Fi network, follow these instructions : Make sure you're connected to your Wi-Fi Network. Open Settings Click on Connexion (or Wi-Fi on iOS) Click on Wi-Fi Click on the gear wheel icon located on the right of your network's name (or on the i on iOS) Click on the eye to unveil your Wi-Fi network password (or on Password on iOS) With a computer If you have a computer connected to your Wi-Fi network, follow these instructions Make sure you're connected to your Wi-Fi Network. Open the list of available Wi-Fi networks. Select Network and Internet Settings. Click on Network and Sharing Center. Select the Internet connection named as your Wi-Fi network. Select Wireless Properties. On the Security tab, click to show the characters. As a last resort If none of the above options work out for you, your last resort option is to restore your Wi-Fi modem to its factory settings. IMPORTANT: This will reset any changes that have been made to your Wi-Fi modem settings to date. You may also need to reconfigure your devices’ Wi-Fi settings (network name, password, etc.). Disable the Wi-Fi feature of the Fizz Wi-Fi modem In bridge mode, the two (2) Wi-Fi radios built into your Fizz Wi-Fi modem will be deactivated, thus disabling its Wi-Fi capabilities. Open an Internet browser and enter 192.168.0.1 in the address bar. Identify yourself using the following login information: Username: cusadmin Password: **enter your Wi-Fi password** Select Basic Select Gateway Disable the option ''Residential Gateway function'' Click Ok Install your personal Wi-Fi router Connect your personal router as indicated in its user guide. Plug the network cable (RJ45) into one of the four (4) numbered ports of your Fizz Wi-Fi modem. If there's any issue with the connection, restart both devices (the Fizz Wi-Fi modem and your personal router). If you want to re-enable the Wi-Fi capability of your Fizz Wi-Fi modem, you'll need to reset it to its factory settings. Using a small, sharp object, press the modem’s reset button for 10 seconds. • CODA-4680 model: the reset button is located behind the Wi-Fi modem. • CODA-5610Q model: the reset button is located under the Wi-Fi modem. If needed, restart both your modem and personal router This quick video will guide you through each step. But in a nutshell: Unplug the power cable on your Wi-Fi modem. Make sure all the lights on the modem turn off. Wait ten (10) seconds. Plug your modem back into the electrical outlet. Expect a three (3) minute delay to allow your devices to reconnect to the Wi-Fi network. Note: If you are also using a personal router, you'll need to restart it as well. Recommendation: It is more effective to restart your Wi-Fi modem by unplugging its power cable instead of pressing its power button.
