Sources of interference include: Nearby Wi-Fi networks Surveillance cameras Baby monitors Microwave ovens Etc. Obstacles to Wi-Fi waves include: Construction materials (concrete, aluminum, etc.) Heated flooring Mirrors Windows Etc. Recommendation: If you are unable to change your environment to limit sources of Wi-Fi signal attenuation, it would be better to use a network cable (RJ45). A cable is included in the original box of your Fizz Wi-Fi modem. Restart your Wi-Fi modem Unplug the power cable on your Wi-Fi modem. Make sure all the lights on the modem are off once you have unplugged it. Wait ten (10) seconds. Plug your modem back into the electrical outlet. Expect a three (3) minute delay to allow your devices to reconnect to the Wi-Fi network. Recommendation: It is more effective to restart your Wi-Fi modem by unplugging its power cable instead of pressing its power button. Test each of the two (2) frequency bands of your Wi-Fi modem

You are automatically subscribed to My Rewards the minute you create an account on fizz.ca. Don’t have an active plan yet? No worries. You can still start earning points in the program by participating in the Community Hub for example. You’ll need an active Fizz plan, however, to use any reward you receive. How does My Rewards work? Throughout your Fizz journey, you collect points for actions you complete: answer a question in the Community Hub, refer friends, add funds to your wallet… you get the point (no pun intended). Accumulating points allows you to progress from level to level. Good to know: When you change your plan, you don't lose your rewards. For example, the My Rewards upgrade for dollars off the price of your plan, or the one for free mobile data every month will continue to apply to your new plan. Your points are yours, and yours alone. You cannot gift your points to another Fizz member. It’s also important to know that your points cannot be redeemed for cash. If a member is not the one paying for his own plan, such as it may be the case for a young member whose parents pay for them, this member won’t receive the points related to the dollars spent. Several options are available to you in My Account under ''Manage plan'' to regularize the situation: Add-ons (Immediate) Wallet (Immediate) Make changes to this plan (At the end of the payment cycle) Restart your phone Reboot (power cycle) your phone by holding down the phone’s start button for 10 seconds. After you reboot, your applications will reload. Your phone will then re-authenticate to the Fizz mobile network. This will allow your phone to recover its authorization to access the network. Reset Network Settings Rest assured, this operation does not delete personal data stored on your device. Follow the steps corresponding to your type of mobile phone. Android: Settings / System / Reset options / Reset cellular network settings (may vary depending on the manufacturer) iOS: Settings / General / Transfer or Reset iPhone / Reset / Reset Network Settings Note: Resetting network settings affects various types of connections (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, VPN, cellular). Saved Wi-Fi networks and paired Bluetooth devices will be erased, as well as preferences associated with the mobile network and VPN settings. Remember to reconfigure this information after the reset. Make sure your phone selects the Fizz mobile network IMPORTANT: Before starting this process, check your phone’s cellular network parameters and make sure the toggle for this eSIM is activated.
