You can switch the Fizz website from French to English using the FR (Français) / EN (English) button on the bottom of the page. If you're using your smartphone, the language button is in the top left menu. By default, you will see the Fizz website in the same language as your browser. How do I add a user to a plan?
When you add a plan to your account, one of these plans may not be used by you — it may be used by your child, your spouse, etc. You will be able to manage aspects of this plan and will make all monthly payments, Add-Ons, etc. Decide if this person will have their own Fizz account. If they do, they WILL be able to: Participate in the Rewards Program: By having their own account, the My Rewards points that this person will receive will go into their account, and not yours. From that point on, that person will be able to manage their upgrades and perks themselves. You won’t have access to them anymore. Also important to know – if you’re at say level 4, the person you declare autonomous with their own account will start their My Rewards program at level 1. Manage their own preferences for Fizz communications Participate in the Fizz Community Hub Modify their plan* *You decide what this user can do by modifying their user permissions. In both cases the user you invite will need to have an unlocked phone. If this person will not have their own Fizz account, they WILL NOT be able to do any of the above. This may be ideal for a child or elderly relative. Add a user with an account How to add a user with their own Fizz account: Go to My Plans in your Fizz account. Select the plan to which you want to add the user. Click on Manage and choose Add a user. Select: “Choose this option if the person WILL be able to…” Enter the user’s email address* and define your relationship to them. Configure this user’s permissions. I’m unable to log into my Fizz account. What do I do?
New Fizz account. If you’re new to Fizz and recently created your account, the confirmation of your email address is key. This step must be completed within 24 hours by clicking on the link in the validation email we sent you. If the 24-hour delay has passed, no worries. By clicking on the link in the validation email, you will be redirected to a window from which you can request a new link. Or you can go on fizz.ca and sign in. The system will automatically send you a new link to finalize the creation of your account. Reset or change your password. Everyone can forget. And if that’s your case, no worries. There’s a magic link on the login page that allows you to change your password. When asked, enter the email address associated with your Fizz account. You’ll then receive an email from us with a link to reset your password. Beware, you’ll have 30 minutes to take action. After that, the link won’t work, and you’ll have to start over. If you do end up doing this a few times, use the link in the most recent email. The other, previous links won’t work. Good to know: After changing your password, you may need to clear the cache of your Internet browser to delete your history and your cookies. Account is locked. If your account is locked and attempts to reset your password are not working, contact us by clicking on the chat bubble at the bottom right . We’ll look into the matter together and settle on the next steps. Account does not exist. How do the promotional rebates offered on some phones sold by Fizz work?
A promotional rebate is sometimes offered for a limited time on the suggested retail price of some phones offered on fizz.ca. If a promotional rebate is offered on the phone you’re considering, remember that this rebate is conditional on you having an active Fizz mobile plan for an uninterrupted period of several months following the purchase date of that phone. Or, if you don’t already have a Fizz mobile plan, that you activate one within 7 days following the delivery of your phone and that you keep that plan active for an uninterrupted period of several months. How many months does this uninterrupted period represent? - If you bought your phone after 2021-05-28, this uninterrupted period totals 24 months. If you leave Fizz before the end of that period, we’ll for one be very sad to see you go. Two, you’ll have to refund the prorated portion of the promotional rebate corresponding to the number of months remaining on the initial term of this period. This amount will be invoiced using the payment method associated with your Fizz plan when you unsubscribe. The same billing method will be used if you had chosen to pay in monthly instalments with Affirm: no amount will be added to your agreement with Affirm. These fees are not penalty fees. The promotional rebate you enjoyed when you purchased the phone is simply divided by the number of months corresponding to the uninterrupted period that applies to you. You therefore only pay the portion of the rebate that corresponds to the leftover months during which you will no longer have an active Fizz mobile plan. How do I manage my contacts?
What is my Contacts list? Your Contacts is a list you create that contains all the Fizz members with whom you want to stay in contact. It may contain your family, acquaintances and friends, colleagues, or people to whom you have gifted data. Manage my Contacts Where do I go to manage my Contacts? When you first join Fizz, your Contacts list will be empty — you need to create it by searching for Fizz members and adding them to your Contacts list. To view, add, remove and manage contacts: Go to My benefizz in your Fizz account. Select My crew > Manage my Fizz friends. We protect members’ privacy by showing only a contact’s first name and last initial. Add, remove or edit a contact How do I add, remove or edit a contact? You create your own contacts list by adding members from our list of all Fizz members. To add a contact: Go to My benefizz in your Fizz account. Select My crew > Manage my Fizz friends. Search for your contact’s email or phone number. If they’re a Fizz member, their first name and last initial will appear in the search results. We’ll ask you to assign a relationship to this contact. This is optional; assigning a relationship, such as friend or co-worker makes it easier to organize your contacts. Click Add. To remove a contact: Go to My benefizz in your Fizz account. Select My crew > Manage my Fizz friends. Search for the contact’s email or phone number to bring up their name. When their first name and last initial appear, click Remove this contact.
