With the Fizz Wi-Fi app and another device If you used the Fizz Wi-Fi app with another device, you’ll be able to share your password from that device. Take this other device, and open the Fizz Wi-Fi app. On top of the screen, click on Share Wi-Fi. From there, you’ll have several choices to share your Wi-Fi network. With your mobile If you have a mobile phone connected to your Wi-Fi network, follow these instructions : Make sure you're connected to your Wi-Fi Network. Open Settings Click on Connexion (or Wi-Fi on iOS) Click on Wi-Fi Click on the gear wheel icon located on the right of your network's name (or on the i on iOS) Click on the eye to unveil your Wi-Fi network password (or on Password on iOS) With a computer If you have a computer connected to your Wi-Fi network, follow these instructions Make sure you're connected to your Wi-Fi Network. Open the list of available Wi-Fi networks. Select Network and Internet Settings. Click on Network and Sharing Center. Select the Internet connection named as your Wi-Fi network. Select Wireless Properties. On the Security tab, click to show the characters. As a last resort If none of the above options work out for you, your last resort option is to restore your Wi-Fi modem to its factory settings. IMPORTANT: This will reset any changes that have been made to your Wi-Fi modem settings to date. You may also need to reconfigure your devices’ Wi-Fi settings (network name, password, etc.). What do I need to know before returning my phone?
Due to the current context at Canada Post, there may be additional delays in receiving your phone return. Rest assured that your return request will be processed without any issues. We appreciate your understanding and patience. Any return request must be submitted online via your Fizz account under My phones > Manage my phone > Return my phone. The IMEI of the phone that is returned must match the IMEI associated with the return request you submit online. If you just bought your phone and are unhappy with it, you may return it under the 15-day return policy . You must submit your request online within 15 days of the date on which you received your phone. Once that delay has expired, the return policy will be expired. See the details of the 15-day return policy If you’re having an issue with your phone, you can make a warranty claim . Make sure the issue is covered by the warranty. Check warranty details before submitting your request. Conditions for a return The conditions detailed below apply to the 15-day return policy, as well as to any warranty claim. Returns for operating software issues or damage following misuse will not be accepted. When you fill out your online return request, you will be asked to certify and confirm each of these return conditions by checking a box: - The phone hasn’t been damaged by water in any way. See the common causes - The phone has no physical damage, and does not show any sign from being dropped. 15-day return Warranty claim The phone is like new. The mobile network is weak or inaccessible in some locations. Why?
Is the coverage adequate? Make sure you are in a zone that has adequate coverage. See our network coverage map The Fizz mobile network, like the vast majority of mobile service providers in Canada, is broadcast from fixed antennas on the ground. It’s normal that the signal will be affected in some places by natural and artificial obstacles. Artificial obstacles may include: Concrete Steel Aluminum Natural obstacles may include: Mountains Valleys Forests Restart your phone If the network signal is weak, your phone may be connected to an antenna that is not in an optimal location for you to access the network. Reboot (power cycle) your phone by holding down the phone’s start button for 10 seconds. Following your reboot, your applications will load. Your phone will then re-authenticate to the Fizz mobile network and potentially recover its authorization to access the network. Is the Fizz network chosen? Make sure your phone is configured to automatically select the Fizz mobile network. IMPORTANT: Before starting this process, make sure the SIM card is inserted in your device. Otherwise, the Mobile networks menu will not be visible. The steps for enabling your device to automatically select a network varies depending on the type of phone. Here are two examples: Android: Settings → Connections → Mobile networks → Network operators → Search networks → Automatic/Fizz iPhone: Settings → Operators → Automatic/Fizz Note: If the Fizz network is not optimal where you are, you may try to temporarily connect to our wider area network. I’ve unsubscribed. I want to return my Wi-Fi modem, but it’s lost or broken.
Please let us know if there’s a problem with returning your Wi-Fi modem. To contact Customer Service, simply click on the chat bubble in the bottom right corner of this page. You can access the bubble chat within our business hours. If you return a modem that is in poor condition, or if we receive a box that does not contain your modem, you will be charged a $225 (plus applicable taxes) modem replacement fee and/or $60 for delivery by a technician. I can’t make any calls on my phone. Why?
Important: the 3G Network is retiring. Since July 31, 2025, the 3G network withdrawal has begun. If you are experiencing difficulties making or receiving calls, this could be related to the VoLTE compatibility of your equipment. To understand this transition and check the compatibility of your phone and SIM card, please consult our FAQ on the importance of VoLTE . Troubleshooting: Are there minutes in your plan? Make sure your plan includes calling minutes. If your plan does not include any minutes, it will be impossible to use your phone to make and receive calls. You can adjust your plan any time to add minutes for local or long distance calls. This change to your plan will take effect at the start of your next payment cycle. You can also add minutes to your plan and use them immediately by buying a Call or Travel Add-On. Once your plan includes minutes or you purchase an Add-on, you'll be able to make and receive calls. Restart your phone Reboot (power cycle) your device by holding down the device’s start button for 10 seconds.
