How do I activate my SIM card and create my mobile plan?
Activating my SIM First thing first, do you have a Fizz SIM? If your phone is compatible with eSIMs, order, install and activate an eSIM all at the same time. See the steps for an eSIM If you don’t have a SIM card, getting one is really simple. - If you’re buying a phone on fizz.ca, you can add a free SIM card to your order. - If you plan to use your own phone, get a physical SIM card online, or from one of our partner store Now the activation If you chose to go with an eSIM, you’ll be able to activate it immediately after ordering it. See the details here. For a physical SIM card, there are two (2) ways to get to the SIM card activation page: Log into your Fizz account and go under Overview > Add a plan. There, you’ll have the opportunity to activate your SIM card. OR In the fizz.ca menu bar, click on Mobile/Activate my SIM or enter fizz.ca/activate directly into the address bar of your web browser. Once there, simply enter the activation code on your SIM card in the field provided. How can I change the SIM associated with my mobile plan?
The SIM card (subscriber identification module) is a chip with information that identifies you and connects your phone to the Fizz mobile network. It can be a physical SIM card or an eSIM (if your phone is compatible of course). If you are looking to activate a SIM card for a new plan, and not an existing plan that is already active in your account, head this way > https://fizz.ca/en/faq/activate If you lose or break your SIM, your mobile plan will no longer work. And since your SIM is associated with your plan, it’s important to follow the right steps to replace it. Same goes if you lose your phone. You must change your SIM and associate a new one with your mobile plan. Good to know: You can switch from a physical SIM card to an eSIM, or from an eSIM to a physical SIM card. Important: Once your new SIM is activated, the old one that is currently associated with your plan will be automatically deactivated. How to replace a Fizz SIM If your Fizz SIM card needs to be changed due to the removal of 3G for a VoLTE-compatible card, it will be free. 1) Sign in to your account The steps to follow automatically succeed one another in your Fizz account. Why do I need a SIM card?

Your SIM card is what identifies you and connects your phone (whether you buy one on fizz.ca or bring your own) to the mighty fine Fizz mobile network. A VoLTE compatible SIM card is therefore required. This SIM card shows a red lightning bolt icon. A Fizz VoLTE SIM card: has no expiry date or limited lifetime; can be activated at any time; can be reused if the initial plan with which it was associated has been cancelled. How can I change my TV plan or channels?
Some features to change a TV plan are still in development. You can change the channels in your current plan or add some to switch to a bigger plan. Please note that you cannot make any changes to your TV plan and/or modify your channels during the freeze period (4-5 days before the end of your current billing cycle). Changing your channels You may change your channels at any time, without changing your monthly TV plan: In your Fizz account, go under My plans > Manage plan > Change my plan. Select your channels. Make sure the total number of channels in your new selection is the same as in your current selection. Submit your changes. Log out and back in your Fizz TV app, and you’ll have access to your new channels instantly. Good to know: any new channel you select for your plan must be kept for at least 30 days. Adding channels to your plan Please note that you cannot change your TV plan during the freeze period (4.5 days before the end of your current billing cycle). You may add channels to your TV plan at any time: In your Fizz account, go under My plans > Manage plan > Change my plan. Add the new channels you want. Submit your changes. A recap of your order and your new services agreement will be sent to you by email. Log out and back in your Fizz TV app, and you’ll have access to your new channels instantly. Remember, any new channel you select for your plan must be kept for at least 30 days. How do I use a PUK code to unblock my SIM card?
To unblock your SIM card right away, log into your Fizz account to reveal your PUK code ( My Plans > Manage > Unblock SIM card). Type the code that is revealed into your phone. If you entered 3 incorrect PIN codes and your phone displays “SIM card blocked” or “Enter PUK code”, your SIM card has been blocked to ensure your security. To unblock your SIM card, you must enter a PUK (PIN Unlock Key) code. Where to find your PUK code Log into your Fizz account and go to My Plans. Click on Manage and then Unblock SIM card. Click the slider to reveal your PUK code. Type this code into your phone to unblock your SIM. To simplify this process in the future, write down your PUK code and keep it somewhere safe or opt for the option to send it to you by email. After you unblock your SIM card After unlocking your SIM card with a PUK code, go to your phone settings to personalize your PIN code. Choose an easy-to-remember PIN — it will prevent you from accidentally blocking your SIM card again. How do I personalize my PIN? If you enter the incorrect PUK code 10 times, your SIM card will be permanently blocked. You will need to order a new SIM card. Order a new SIM card If you received your PUK code by email The email you received contains several codes: PUK1, PIN2 and PUK2. PUK1: The code to unlock your PIN if it is blocked.
