How can I change my TV plan or channels?
Please note that you cannot make any changes to your TV plan and/or modify your channels during the freeze period (3 days before the end of your current billing cycle).
-
Changing your channels
You may change your channels at any time, without changing your monthly TV plan.
- In your Fizz account, go to My plans > Manage plan > Change my plan.
- Select your channels. Make sure the total number of channels in your new selection is the same as in your current selection.
- Submit your changes.
- Log out and back in to the Fizz TV app to instantly access your new channels.
Good to know:- Any new channel selected for your plan must be kept for at least 30 days.
- If you benefit from a grandfathered rate on your base plan, the price shown during the channel change process may reflect the current rate.
- Don’t worry: if you are only changing your channels without adding or removing any, the price you pay will remain the same.

Adding channels to your plan
Important before you start
Please note that you cannot make changes to your TV plan during the freeze period, which starts 3 days before the end of your current billing cycle.
If you currently benefit from a rate that is no longer offered (grandfathered rate) on your TV plan:
- You may keep this rate as long as you keep the same TV plan.
- If you change your TV plan (base plan), the current rate in effect will apply.
Adding channels (available at any time)- In your Fizz account, go to My plans > Manage plan > Change my plan.
- Add the channels you want.
- Submit your changes.
- A summary of your order and your new service agreement will be sent to you by email.
- Log out and back in to the Fizz TV app to get instant access to your new channels.
Please remember: Any new channel added to your plan must be kept for at least 30 days.
Prorated chargesSince your new TV plan is available immediately, a prorated charge will apply to cover the period between the date you add the channels and the start of your next billing cycle.
Example:
You add channels on December 14, and your next billing cycle starts on December 30.
The prorated amount charged on December 14 will therefore cover 16 days.
Good to know: You can view all your transactions under My settings > Transaction history.

- Remove the channels you no longer want.
- Submit your changes.
- A recap of your order and your new service agreement will be sent to you by email.

If a channel is no longer offered
TV networks sometimes drop a channel, meaning that channel is no longer offered. Should this happen with a channel in your TV plan, we’ll send you an email 60 days before, so you have time to replace it.
If you don’t swap it before the set deadline, you'll have an empty slot in your TV plan.
