How can I change my TV plan or channels?

Some features to change a TV plan are still in development. You can change the channels in your current plan or add some to switch to a bigger plan. If you wish to switch to a smaller plan, please contact our Customer Service team.

  1. Changing your channels

You may change your channels at any time, without changing your monthly TV plan:

    • In your Fizz account, go under My plans > Manage plan > Change my plan.

    • Select your channels. Make sure the total number of channels in your new selection is the same as in your current selection.

    • Submit your changes.

    • Log out and back in your Fizz TV app, and you’ll have access to your new channels instantly.

Good to know: any new channel you select for your plan must be kept for at least 30 days.

  1. Adding channels to your plan

You may add channels to your TV plan at any time:

    • In your Fizz account, go under My plans > Manage plan > Change my plan.

    • Add the new channels you want.

    • Submit your changes. A recap of your order and your new services agreement will be sent to you by email.

    • Log out and back in your Fizz TV app, and you’ll have access to your new channels instantly.

Remember, any new channel you select for your plan must be kept for at least 30 days.

Because you’ll have access to your new TV plan instantly, you will pay a prorated amount to bridge the gap between the day you add new channels and the day your next payment cycle starts.

    > Say you add channels to your TV plan on December 14 but your next payment cycle only starts on December 30. The prorated amount you will pay on December 14 will therefore correspond to the cost of your new TV plan for those 16 days.

Good to know: You can see all your account transactions under My settings > Transaction history

Another good thing to know: If you add channels to your TV plan during the freeze period for your plan, the amount you will have to pay will correspond to the cost of your new TV plan for the days leading up to your first full month PLUS one full month.

    > Say you add channels to your TV plan on December 28, and your next payment cycle for your plan starts on December 30, thus putting you right in the freeze period. The amount you will pay on December 28 for your new TV plan will therefore correspond to 32 days – those 2 days plus the amount for the next full month.

  1. Removing channels from your TV plan

This feature is still in development. If you wish to switch to a smaller plan, please contact our Customer Service team.

  1. If a channel is no longer offered

TV networks sometimes drop a channel, meaning that channel is no longer offered. Should this happen with a channel in your TV plan, we’ll send you an email 60 days before, so you have time to replace it.

If you don’t swap it before the set deadline, you'll have an empty slot in your TV plan.
