When you subscribe to Fizz Home Internet, you will see three items in your order summary: Your home internet plan: This amount is paid when you subscribe but the plan period will start only after your installation. Self-installation or VIP installation: This is the fee for delivery and possible installation of your Wi-Fi modem, depending on which installation option you chose during subscription. Fizz Home Internet is not yet available everywhere. It is currently offered at many residential addresses in Quebec and in the Clarence-Rockland (ON) area and will, over time, become available in more and more areas. The address or unit number does not appear in the dropdown menu No worries! Click on the blue link “I can’t find my address.” Enter your postal code (without spaces) and your street number to start the search. Then follow the steps displayed on the screen. Make sure your address information is accurate Before going any further, make sure your address is entered correctly. You can check Canada Post’s website to: Verify the exact spelling of the street; Confirm the street number; Validate the postal code; Check whether your unit (apartment, condo, etc.) is properly listed. Even if your address does not appear at Canada Post, we can still perform validations with our teams to confirm eligibility. The address is still not found through the “I can’t find my address” search If your address still cannot be selected, this means it is not yet in our database. In that case: Contact us through the chat bubble (at the bottom right of the page). An agent will submit a validation request to our teams to verify the eligibility of your address. You can also test the address of an immediate neighbour. If the service is available at their place, there is a good chance it will soon be available for you as well. What if I get an unavailability message? If the following message appears after selecting your address: “ Sad news. Fizz Home Internet is unfortunately not available at your address.” and you believe this is an error: Click on the chat bubble (bottom right). An agent will perform additional checks to confirm the situation.

Activate your modem and check your plan If your Home Internet plan is brand-new and you received your modem by mail, login to your account at Fizz.ca and activate your modem to enjoy the speed associated with your plan. How to activate my modem If a technician came by to install your modem, then no need for you to activate your modem. The technician did it for you. For an internet service move, your plan will automatically be reactivated at the new address on the selected date. No action is required on your part. Restart your Wi-Fi modem Unplug the power cable on your Wi-Fi modem. Make sure all the lights on the modem are off once you have unplugged it. Wait ten (10) seconds. Plug your modem back into the electrical outlet. Expect a three (3) minute delay to allow your devices to reconnect to the Wi-Fi network. Recommendation: It is more effective to restart your Wi-Fi modem by unplugging its power cable instead of pressing its power button. Status of Key Wi‑Fi Modem Indicator Lights Please note that the CODA‑4680 model includes 6 indicator lights on the front, while the CODA‑5610Q model has a single indicator light. Below is the list of indicator lights on your CODA‑4680 Wi‑Fi modem and their possible states: Power This light must be on. If it is off, make sure the power cable is securely connected at both ends. Also try plugging it into a different electrical outlet. Status (@) Solid: the modem is functional and connected to the network. Blinking: the modem is in the process of connecting to the network. If the light keeps blinking for more than 5 minutes, check that the coaxial cable is properly connected

Make sure you are in an area covered by our service. View network coverage maps If you are outside of Fizz's coverage area, you may still be able to use your mobile data by connecting to our WAN. How to access the extended network If you are outside the Fizz coverage area, your phone is probably in roaming mode.   Options for using data while roaming      Is there data in your plan? Make sure you have mobile data in your plan.   My Plans. If there is no data in your plan, you will not be able to access the Fizz mobile Internet network. You can change your plan to add data. This change will take effect come your next payment cycle. Other options: Buy an Add-on which will allow you to use its data right away. Connect to a Wi-Fi network. Is your data enabled? Your phone has a software switch that allows you to grant or deny access to the Fizz mobile Internet network. By doing so, you allow, or not, your phone to use mobile data.   The procedure for allowing the use of mobile data may vary from one phone to another. Here are two examples: Android: Settings → Mobile Network → Mobile Data iPhone: Settings → Cellular network → Cellular data If you're outside your coverage area: You may need to enable mobile data while roaming as well.  The steps to enable data roaming may vary from phone to phone.
