Wireless and Internet Code is a mandatory code of conduct created by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) to make it easier for Canadians to understand their rights and responsibilities related to their service contracts. The Wireless Code The CRTC's Wireless Code, which came into effect in December 2013 and was updated in December 2017, establishes requirements that all Canadian wireless providers must meet for, most notably, cancellation fees, limits on data & roaming charges, unlocked Mobile phones, trial periods and the language used in your contract. I would like to add or relocate an outlet. How do I do this?
Sometimes your cable outlet isn’t placed exactly where you want it. Or maybe your outlet is no longer functioning. Not to worry, you simply need to plan an appointment with a technician. Not subscribed to Fizz Home Internet service yet? Subscribe to one of our Home Internet plans and go for the VIP installation. The technician will then install, relocated or repair your outlet during the installation appointment. How to subscribe to Fizz Home Internet Already enjoying one of our Home Internet plans? Contact us by chat. We can schedule a service call for you. A $60 fee will apply. How a service call works Important: A person over 18 years old must be present during any technician appointment.

How do I manage my Fizz account?
When you login to your account, you will see a summary of your status to date. The top navigation on this screen enables you to view and manage different aspects of your account. In the top navigation, click on: Overview to see your usage for this payment cycle. My Settings to manage your referrals, linked accounts, contacts and settings. My Plans to adjust all plans on your account. Your Account Number Your account number can be found on the first page of your service agreement. This document was sent to you by email when you activated your plan. You can also find it through your Fizz account. Go to My Plans > Manage My Plan. The information will be displayed at the top of the page. Your Fizz account number is not your phone number. Your Fizz account number is a unique identifier assigned to your account when you sign up. It is used to manage your account and access your services. Unlike your phone number, which is used for calls and messages, your Fizz account number is essential for interactions with customer service and managing your account online. I’ve unsubscribed. I want to return my Wi-Fi modem, but it’s lost or broken.
Please let us know if there’s a problem with returning your Wi-Fi modem. To contact Customer Service, simply click on the chat bubble in the bottom right corner of this page. You can access the bubble chat within our business hours. If you return a modem that is in poor condition, or if we receive a box that does not contain your modem, you will be charged a $225 (plus applicable taxes) modem replacement fee and/or $60 for delivery by a technician. How to connect a device to view my TV content?
Visit this section of our website for all the details on our TV service. You can subscribe there, or directly here, or in your account at Fizz.ca > My plans > Add a TV plan. Compatible devices The app is available on Google Play, the App Store, Roku and Amazon Fire TV. It can also be downloaded directly onto a compatible smart TV. Good to know: Any device you use that is compatible with Fizz TV must have its region/location set to Canada. It is important to set the location to Canada on your streaming device too. I can’t send or receive text messages (SMS). Why?
Some text messages sent by businesses such as 2-step verification messages may not be sent to your phone properly. We continue to gradually roll out this type of service so that it operates optimally with as many companies as possible. Make sure you are in a zone that has adequate coverage. See our network coverage map If you are outside the Fizz network, you can connect via our partner network. Learn about accessing our partner network Troubleshooting: Make sure your plan includes text messages Log into your account to access the text message activation tool. If your plan does not include text messages, it will be impossible for you to send texts on your phone. You can adjust your plan up to 108 hours before the end of your payment cycle to add text messaging. This change to your plan will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You can also add minutes to your plan and use them immediately by buying an Add-On for local or long-distance calls. Restart your phone Reboot (power cycle) your phone by holding down the phone’s start button for 10 seconds. After you reboot, your applications will reload. Your phone will then re-authenticate to the Fizz mobile network. This will allow your phone to recover its authorization to access the network. Do you use a native application? Make sure you are using your phone’s native messaging app. If you are using a non-native application to send your messages, it’s possible that the issue originates with this app. These messaging apps may have their own server or messaging centre.
