Troubleshooting: I’m having issues with my Fizz TV channels. What do I do?
Check your signal Remember, no Internet means no TV. Your TV channels are delivered over your Fizz Home Internet connection. If you’re running into any issue with your TV service, start by checking your Internet connection. Check the region on your device The region settings of any compatible device you are watching your Fizz TV content on must be set to Canada. How to check and change the region: Apple TV: Settings > General > Region > select “Canada”. This means you may need to create a new Roku account, reset your Roku device and link the device to your new account. Refer to your device instructions. Android TV/Android mobile: In Google Play Store > Settings > General > Account and Device Preferences > Country and Profiles > Select “Canada”. Amazon Fire TV: Sign in to your Amazon account linked to the Firestick > Accounts and Lists > Content and Devices > Preferences > Country/Region Settings > Change > Select “Canada”. FAQ
Referral program: how do referral bonuses work?
When are referral bonuses awarded? When your friend subscribes to Fizz using your referral code, both of your referral bonuses will be pending until your invited friend becomes a paying member. Same goes if you're the one who was invited: your bonus (and that of the Fizz member who invited you) will be pending. When the invited person completes their third monthly payment, they will receive their referral bonus. From there, the referral bonus of the Fizz member who made the invitation will be applied on their next payment. If you have multiple plans, your referral bonuses will be applied on the payment for your default main plan (the oldest plan in your account). You can change your settings under your profile to choose another plan. Once that change is done, any future referral bonus will be assigned to that other chosen plan. Learn more on how to invite friends, and get invited. What is the amount of the referral bonus? The usual amount for the referral bonus is $25, for both the Fizz member and the person they invite, but this amount can vary based on the activation date. More specifically: for a mobile plan, the date at which the person who was invited activates their SIM card. for a Home Internet plan, the date at which the person who was invited subscribed and chose their installation appointment. How do I know when friends I invited have signed up (and the amount of the corresponding bonus)? You are notified every time a referred friend subscribes, activates their account and makes their second payment. You will receive an in-account notification, and depending on your communications preferences, an email or a text. To track the status of your invited friends, and know the amount of the referral bonus you'll receive (or

Why is VoLTE important?
The withdrawal of the 3G network will start July 31, 2025, for Fizz and several of its partners. All calls made with your Fizz mobile plan will then go through the LTE network thanks to VoLTE technology. But to do so, you need to: Use a VoLTE-compatible SIM card or an eSIM (if your phone allows it). Use a phone that is VoLTE-compatible at Fizz. Activate the VoLTE function on your phone. IMPORTANT: If any of these criteria is not met, none of your c alls (including 911 calls) will go through when the 3G network is gone. To learn more about the withdrawal of the 3G network in Canada, visit the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) website, and the Canadian Telecommunications Association website. What is VoLTE VoLTE stands for Voice over LTE, which basically means a phone call will use the LTE network. The opportunity to use the LTE network for your calls means: Improved sound quality for your calls. Faster routing of your calls, meaning the delay for the phone to ring at the other end will be shorter. Reduced interruptions when you go from the Fizz network to a partner network. Criteria #1: a VoLTE-compatible SIM card Your SIM connects your phone to the Fizz LTE network. If it’s not VoLTE (voice over LTE) compatible, no calls (including 911 calls) will be possible with the plan associated with this SIM card when the 3G network is gone. A VoLTE-compatible SIM card shows a red lightning bolt icon: If you need to change your SIM card and you still haven't received a SIM card in the mail, please contact us so one of our agents can confirm your address so we can send you one free of charge.
