How do I manage my contacts?
What is my Contacts list? Your Contacts is a list you create that contains all the Fizz members with whom you want to stay in contact. It may contain your family, acquaintances and friends, colleagues, or people to whom you have gifted data. Manage my Contacts Where do I go to manage my Contacts? When you first join Fizz, your Contacts list will be empty — you need to create it by searching for Fizz members and adding them to your Contacts list. To view, add, remove and manage contacts: Go to My benefizz in your Fizz account. Select My crew > Manage my Fizz friends. We protect members’ privacy by showing only a contact’s first name and last initial. Add, remove or edit a contact How do I add, remove or edit a contact? You create your own contacts list by adding members from our list of all Fizz members. To add a contact: Go to My benefizz in your Fizz account. Select My crew > Manage my Fizz friends. Search for your contact’s email or phone number. If they’re a Fizz member, their first name and last initial will appear in the search results. We’ll ask you to assign a relationship to this contact. This is optional; assigning a relationship, such as friend or co-worker makes it easier to organize your contacts. Click Add. To remove a contact: Go to My benefizz in your Fizz account. Select My crew > Manage my Fizz friends. Search for the contact’s email or phone number to bring up their name. When their first name and last initial appear, click Remove this contact. What are the Fizz apps?
To manage your Fizz account. In fact, our website has been designed to allow you to manage your account online, even from your phone. So no need for an app: our site adapts itself based on the device used and allows you to access all the features of your account. Tip: Add fizz.ca as a shortcut on your phone screen. You'll have all the advantages of an app, without having to download anything. Here's how to add fizz.ca as a shortcut on your phone screen: With an Android phone: Using the Google Chrome browser, go to fizz.ca Log in to your account. Click on the square with the three dots (depending on the device, it’ll be at the bottom of the screen, or in the upper right corner of the browser). Select "Pin on home screen". With a Apple phone: Using the Safari browser, go to fizz.ca Log in to your account. Click on the Share icon (the square with an arrow pointing up). Scroll down the menu that appears. If you want to change your Home Internet plan, you must do so via your Fizz account. The Fizz Wi-Fi app is only to manage your Wi-Fi network if you’re a Fizz Internet member. The Fizz Wi-Fi app gives you direct access to the important details of your network. Referral program: how do referral bonuses work?
When are referral bonuses awarded? When your friend subscribes to Fizz using your referral code, both of your referral bonuses will be pending until your invited friend becomes a paying member. Same goes if you're the one who was invited: your bonus (and that of the Fizz member who invited you) will be pending. When the invited person completes their third monthly payment, they will receive their referral bonus. From there, the referral bonus of the Fizz member who made the invitation will be applied on their next payment. If you have multiple plans, your referral bonuses will be applied on the payment for your default main plan (the oldest plan in your account). You can change your settings under your profile to choose another plan. Once that change is done, any future referral bonus will be assigned to that other chosen plan. The usual amount for the referral bonus is $25, for both the Fizz member and the person they invite, but this amount can vary based on the activation date. More specifically: for a mobile plan, the date at which the person who was invited activates their SIM card. for a Home Internet plan, the date at which the person who was invited subscribed and chose their installation appointment. How do I know when friends I invited have signed up (and the amount of the corresponding bonus)? You are notified every time a referred friend subscribes, activates their account and makes their second payment. You will receive an in-account notification, and depending on your communications preferences, an email or a text. How to enable and disable your Fizz Forum private messages?
Private messaging can be a useful feature if you’re trying to help or communicate with a friend in the Fizz Community. Private messages are enabled by default when you log into the Fizz Community. To disable private messages in the Fizz Community: Log into your Fizz Account. In the top navigation, click on Support and select Community. Click on your username. Click on Edit profile. Uncheck Private message system. Click Save. To enable private messaging, follow the steps above. In step 4, check the box next to Private message system and click Save.
