What do I do if my phone or SIM card is stolen?
To prevent identity theft or any fraudulent use, you must absolutely block your SIM card (access to your plan and phone number) and your phone. To do so, log into your Fizz account. Under My phones you’ll see an option to report your phone as lost/stolen. But before doing that, did you think about using the function to locate your phone? Blocking a SIM card allows to block any fraudulent use of your plan, as well as access to your phone number. To do so, log into your Fizz account. Under My phones you’ll see an option to report your phone as lost/stolen and block your phone and/or SIM card. The block is effective immediately. When your SIM card is blocked, your mobile plan remains active. - You will stille be able to access your voicemail from another phone. How do I use a PUK code to unblock my SIM card?
To unblock your SIM card right away, log into your Fizz account to reveal your PUK code ( My Plans > Manage > Unblock SIM card). Type the code that is revealed into your phone. If you entered 3 incorrect PIN codes and your phone displays “SIM card blocked” or “Enter PUK code”, your SIM card has been blocked to ensure your security. To unblock your SIM card, you must enter a PUK (PIN Unlock Key) code. Where to find your PUK code Log into your Fizz account and go to My Plans. Click on Manage and then Unblock SIM card. Click the slider to reveal your PUK code. Type this code into your phone to unblock your SIM. To simplify this process in the future, write down your PUK code and keep it somewhere safe or opt for the option to send it to you by email. After you unblock your SIM card After unlocking your SIM card with a PUK code, go to your phone settings to personalize your PIN code. Choose an easy-to-remember PIN — it will prevent you from accidentally blocking your SIM card again. How do I personalize my PIN? How can I change the SIM associated with my mobile plan?
The SIM card (subscriber identification module) is a chip with information that identifies you and connects your phone to the Fizz mobile network. It can be a physical SIM card or an eSIM (if your phone is compatible of course). If you lose or break your SIM, your mobile plan will no longer work. And since your SIM is associated with your plan, it’s important to follow the right steps to replace it. Same goes if you lose your phone. You must change your SIM and associate a new one with your mobile plan. Important: Once your new SIM is activated, the old one that is currently associated with your plan will be automatically deactivated. When will my Fizz package be delivered?
The delivery of your package, whether it is a SIM card, a phone or a Wi-Fi modem, is done by a third party. The delivery date indicated on your order summary is for reference only; Fizz cannot guarantee a specific delivery date. Important: The scheduled delivery date cannot be changed. What are the delivery times for a SIM card or a device? You should plan between 2 to 5 working days for the delivery of a SIM card. Deliveries are made from Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. If the delivery time includes a holiday, it will take an extra day for delivery. For a phone or Wi-Fi modem, you will receive an email with a tracking number to follow your package. To check the status of your delivery: Log into your account and go to My settings > Order history > View Details Click on the shipment number to view your delivery details on the courier's website.
