Our services and tools are designed to empower our members. If you’re stuck, there are several options available to you, 24/7. There is no phone number to reach Fizz. Our customer service is 100% online. Important: The forum is a great place to get tips and advice but know that you are interacting with members, and not Fizz directly. It is therefore imperative that you do not publish your personal information. The FAQ Answers to the most frequently asked questions are included, of course. This is the very definition of an FAQ. Look for the green conversation bubble in the bottom right-hand corner of our FAQ or support page. If you’re already chatting with our virtual assistant, ask for an agent. It’s your gateway to available channels to contact us. Good to know: - Our communication channels are asynchronous, a bit like social media, for example. How do I earn points and badges on the Fizz Forum?
Using the Forum to share and help others comes with its own points and badges. Earning Points Let’s get you started: Create your Forum account. Make sure to use the same email address as your Fizz account. Help and contribute to the community by replying and posting helpful information that can benefit other Fizz members. > Learn how to post on the Forum. You’ll earn points for each action you complete. Think of these as notoriety points. Based on your contribution in the community, you may also receive Geek badges. The allocation of our Geek badges is based on a secret algorithm, devised to prevent people from gaming the community. But ultimately, the following will increase your chances: The frequency of your activity on the Forum. Any reply you post to help others who need assistance or direction. Posting helpful contributions. Your participation in the Forum will also give a hand to your My Rewards progression. You must be a Fizz member with an active monthly plan to participate in the My Rewards program. The email address you use in the Forum must match the one in your Fizz account. Subscribe to Fizz > The actions you complete on the Forum do not all contribute to your My Rewards program. Refer to the table below. How do I set up call forwarding?
Call forwarding allows you to forward your calls to another phone number of your choice. It’s useful when you’re on the move, or when you wish to be reached at a number other than your Fizz mobile phone number. Call forwarding and VoLTE. Call forwarding will work when you use a VoLTE certified phone, activated with a VoLTE compatible SIM card. If your phone is not VoLTE certified, manually setting up call forwarding will not work. Call forwarding for the voicemail option remains functional. The details about VoLTE Manually set up Call forwarding To use the Call forwarding function, make sure your plan includes minutes or that you have funds in your Wallet to pay-per-use. Only outgoing calls are possible when call forwarding is activated. Your phone will not ring and you will not receive any notifications (message, missed call, etc.). All incoming calls will be automatically forwarded to the programmed number until the call forwarding function is disabled. To activate call forwarding, dial: Press the * key twice then 21*(number you’re forwarding to)# You can add commas to indicate a pause while dialling. This is how you would add an extension, for example: Press the * key twice then 21*(number you’re forwarding to),,1234# All incoming calls will be redirected to the number you provide, without delay and without your phone ringing. To activate call forwarding to different phone numbers under specific conditions: If you don’t reply after several rings: Press the * key twice then 61*(number you’re forwarding to)# If your line is not available (busy): Press the * key twice then 62*(number you’re forwarding to)# Note: Calls can be directed to a different number for each type of forwarding. How do I activate my SIM card and create my mobile plan?
Activating my SIM First thing first, do you have a Fizz SIM? If your phone is compatible with eSIMs, order, install and activate an eSIM all at the same time. See the steps for an eSIM If you don’t have a SIM card, getting one is really simple. - If you’re buying a phone on fizz.ca, you can add a free SIM card to your order. - If you plan to use your own phone, get a physical SIM card online, or from one of our partner store - If you still have an old VoLTE SIM card that was deactivated, you can use it. Now the activation If you chose to go with an eSIM, you’ll be able to activate it immediately after ordering it. See the details here. For a physical SIM card, there are two (2) ways to get to the SIM card activation page: Log into your Fizz account and go under Overview > Add a plan. There, you’ll have the opportunity to activate your SIM card. OR In the fizz.ca menu bar, click on Mobile/Activate my SIM or enter fizz.ca/activate directly into the address bar of your web browser. Once there, simply enter the activation code on your SIM card in the field provided. I’m having problems transferring my current phone number to Fizz. Why? What can I do?
Note that a number transfer cannot be done on a line that is already active with Fizz. In other words, if you already have a Fizz plan, porting a number to this plan is not possible; you need to create a new plan. As outlined below, there are several possible reasons for this situation. You will receive an email, as well as an in-account notification explaining the glitch pertaining to your situation, and the next steps to address it. To check your in-account notifications, sign into your account and click on the bell icon next to your name. icon next to your name. Wrong IMEI or account number. Your phone IMEI or your account number with your current provider, whichever one you chose to use, is incorrect. Perhaps you mistyped it when entering it. To correct and redo your phone number transfer request, follow these steps: Verify your information: Ensure that all your personal information (name, address, phone number) is correct and up to date. Resend the request: We have sent you an email containing a link to restart your request. Follow the instructions: Click on the link and restart your request to complete the transfer of your number. To find the IMEI, dial *#06# on the phone you are using with your current provider. If the IMEI number is more than 15 digits long, only use the first 15. If you’re using your account number, check your most recent bill from your current provider. See account number formats. The transfer authorization failed. How do I personalize my PIN?
Your 4-digit PIN (Personal Identification Number) protects you from unauthorized access to your SIM card. However, your SIM card PIN code is not activated by default. To activate a PIN code on your SIM card, enter the default code 1234 — it will allow you to edit this code and customize it. This PIN code is written on the card that accompanies your new SIM card. The default PIN code is 1234 Once your SIM card has been activated with a personalized PIN code, you will need to enter your PIN every time you turn on your phone. Without this your SIM card will not work and you will be unable to access the Fizz network. IMPORTANT! If you type 3 incorrect PIN codes in a row, your SIM card will be blocked. To avoid this situation, we advise you to personalize your PIN using a number you will remember. How to unblock your SIM with a PUK code How to personalize the PIN on most phones: Go to the Settings menu. Choose Security. Choose Modify your PIN. Many phones have a built-in shortcut for changing your PIN. Enter **04*old PIN*new PIN*re-enter your new PIN#. What are the items in my Fizz Home Internet order summary?
When you subscribe to Fizz Home Internet, you will see three items in your order summary: Your home internet plan: This amount is paid when you subscribe but the plan period will start only after your installation. Self-installation or VIP installation: This is the fee for delivery and possible installation of your Wi-Fi modem, depending on which installation option you chose during subscription.
