Try charging via USB or with another charger Check that this is not an issue with a damaged electric cable. Test with another cable to make sure. You can also test the charge by removing the power supply block, and connecting the USB end (Type A) into a compatible device. Check that the cable works well by trying to charge another phone if you have one. Remove the battery, and put it back in (removable only) On some phone models, the battery is removable. If this is the case for your phone, remove the battery for at least 10 seconds and put it back in place. Then, try turning your phone on again. Restart your phone Reboot (power cycle) your phone by holding down the phone’s power button for 10 seconds. If it’s a timely issue with the operating system or an app, the phone will be able to reload everything to work properly. If the phone is frozen, and you cannot restart it, try a force restart. The key sequence to complete a force restart can vary from one phone model to another. It’s usually a simultaneous combination of keys. To know the one for your phone, make an Internet search using the keywords that correspond to your phone. Ex. The ideal speed for your Fizz Home Internet service will depend on the number of devices connected to your network, and the amount of data their online activities require. A plan with a higher speed implies more bandwidth, which will in turn accommodate a larger volume of data traffic. If you are browsing and checking your email, you will need fewer Mbps. If several people at your address will be watching video streaming or playing games, there will be more data traffic on your network, and more Mbps will therefore be needed to make the experience enjoyable for everyone. Depending on your location and needs, you can choose a plan ranging from 30 Mbps to 940 Mbps (see details below). Our upload speeds are 10 Mbps for the 30 Mbps and 60 Mbps plans, and 50 Mbps for all other plans. With Fizz, you pay for your plan each month via automatic pre-authorized payments planned 72 hours before the start of your billing cycle. Example. Your payment cycle ends on the 5th of every month. The automatic payment of your plan therefore takes place on the 3rd of the month, and your new cycle starts on the 6th. If a payment fails, you’ll receive automatic reminders that will tell you what you need to do along with the deadline that applies, to pay for your plan yourself to avoid it from being suspended or even cancelled. Please note that Fizz is a prepaid service, and the payment date is fixed and cannot be changed. Additionally, no payment arrangements can be made. Please also note that the total amount of your bill must be paid in a single transaction — it cannot be split between multiple credit cards. My credit card is expired. You must update your payment method at least 72 hours before the end of your payment cycle to make sure your account is updated in time for your next payment. Before removing the card currently associated with your account, you’ll need to add a new one first. My Settings > Payment Methods > Add a new payment method Once your payment method has been updated in your Fizz account, you must associate it to each plan you want to pay with that card. Adding a plan to your existing account Yes, Fizz allows you to add and manage multiple plans on your account. This is ideal if you want to pay for multiple plans for friends or family, or if you need two separate plans for yourself. How to add a plan to your account: Go to Overview in your Fizz account. Click on Add a plan. On the next screen, click on Order a new SIM card (if you don’t already have one). Order and pay for a SIM card. When your SIM card arrives, Go to Activate my SIM Card. Depending on your privacy settings inside the Fizz community, other members may (or may not) be able to search for you, add you as a contact, and gift you data. When a Fizz member searches for another member inside the community, they will see your first name and phone number. They will never see your full name, email address or other identifying information. How to change your Fizz privacy settings: Go to My Settings in your Fizz account. Scroll to Settings. Click on Privacy. Here you can select one of three privacy options: Full Fizz Experience: By default, other users can search for you, add you as a contact and send you gifts. Private: You can receive gifts from everyone. You cannot be searched or added as a contact. Incognito: You do not accept gifts and cannot be added as a contact. You are incognito and cannot be found via search.
