How do I personalize my PIN?
Your 4-digit PIN (Personal Identification Number) protects you from unauthorized access to your SIM card. However, your SIM card PIN code is not activated by default. To activate a PIN code on your SIM card, enter the default code 1234 — it will allow you to edit this code and customize it. This PIN code is written on the card that accompanies your new SIM card. The default PIN code is 1234 Once your SIM card has been activated with a personalized PIN code, you will need to enter your PIN every time you turn on your phone. Without this your SIM card will not work and you will be unable to access the Fizz network. IMPORTANT! If you type 3 incorrect PIN codes in a row, your SIM card will be blocked. To avoid this situation, we advise you to personalize your PIN using a number you will remember. How to unblock your SIM with a PUK code How to personalize the PIN on most phones: Go to the Settings menu. Choose Security. Choose Modify your PIN. Many phones have a built-in shortcut for changing your PIN. Enter **04*old PIN*new PIN*re-enter your new PIN#. For example, to change your PIN 0000 to 2710, you would type: **04*0000*2710*2710# The PIN2 code: a rarely used code that protects access to specific features of your SIM Your SIM card is protected by two PIN codes: The PIN code is required when you turn on your mobile or tablet. The PIN2 code protects access to specific features; for example, it activates your phone's restricted directory. The PIN2 code is rarely used, and use depends on your phone's features. If you type 3 incorrect PIN2 codes in a row, your PIN2 code will be blocked. To unblock your PIN2 code, you will need to

My Wi-Fi network is not available in certain areas of my home. How do I fix it?
Issues with your Internet? Select Network scan in the tools section of the Fizz Wi-Fi app to diagnose and fix issues with your Wi-Fi network. Reminder: Use the same credentials as your Fizz account to log into the app. Open the Fizz Wi-Fi app To download the Fizz Wi-Fi app: @media screen and (max-width: 600px) { .card {padding:16px!important;} .card .btn {display: block!important;width: 100%;} } .card, .card * { box-sizing: border-box; } .card p {margin:0;padding:0;line-height:24px} .card h6 {margin-bottom:4px;line-height:24px} .card .btn {margin-top:16px;margin-bottom:0px;} .card .app {margin-top:8px;margin-bottom:0px;} .card .caption {margin-top:16px;font-size:12px;line-height:16px;} .card { background:#BAEAFA; border-radius: 6px; padding: 24px; display: flex; margin-bottom:48px; align-items: flex-start; justify-content: flex-start; position: relative; box-shadow:0px 1px 4px 0px rgba(25, 25, 25, 0.15); } Identify potential sources of interference The waves in your Wi-Fi network may be attenuated by various obstacles and sources of interference, causing speed drops and partial or complete disconnections of your internet connection. Sources of interference include: Nearby Wi-Fi networks Surveillance cameras Baby monitors Microwave ovens Etc. Obstacles to Wi-Fi waves include: Construction materials (concrete, aluminum, etc.) Heated flooring Mirrors Windows Etc. Recommendation: If you are unable to change your environment to limit sources of Wi-Fi signal attenuation, it would be better to use a network cable (RJ45). A cable is included in the original box of your Fizz Wi-Fi modem. Restart your Wi-Fi modem Unplug the power cable on your Wi-Fi modem. Make sure all the lights on the modem are off once you have unplugged it. Wait ten (10) seconds. Plug your modem back into the electrical outlet. Expect a three (3) minute delay to allow your devices to reconnect to the Wi-Fi network. Recommendation: It is more effective to restart your Wi-Fi modem by unplugging its power cable instead of pressing its power button. Test each of the two (2) frequency bands of your Wi-Fi modem

What is a Rollover and how does it work?
Nobody likes losing something they’ve paid for. Which is exactly why we roll over your unused data at the end of each month. There’s nothing you need to do — your unused data is automatically rolled over to the next month at the end of each payment cycle. Rolled over data lasts for the two following payment cycles, even if you change your plan. It’s always used before your monthly data. So if you have rolled over data, you’ll use it up first and then move onto the data in your regular plan Please note that minutes are not transferable. Can I gift my unused data instead of having it roll over? Yes. You can gift any unused data when you’re near the end of your payment cycle. You can only gift data from your current payment cycle, and it must be gifted before your payment cycle ends (before your data rolls over). Learn about gifting data When to expect a Rollover When does my unused data roll over? Your unused data will roll over at the end of each payment cycle. To see when your payment cycle ends: Go to My Plans in your Fizz account. Under each plan (if you have more than one), you will be able to see how much time is left in your current payment cycle. When does rolled over data expire How do I know when my rolled over data will expire? Each batch of rolled over data will expire after two (2) complete payment cycles, and this even if you change your plan. To see when a Rollover will expire: Go to My Plans in your Fizz account. Under the plan you wish to view (if you have more than one) click on See Usage. This will open the Usage screen, which

FAQ
Is it possible to transfer my plan to another account?
The short answer, unfortunately, is no. At the moment, it is not possible to transfer a Fizz plan (or a phone number) from one Fizz account to another Fizz account. For both mobile plans and residential Internet plans, our systems do not allow the transfer from one account to another. It is also not possible to group multiple accounts. However, these are features we are working on. For a child who has grown up. If you had created a plan in your account for your child, and your child is now grown up and would like to stand on his own, he must first create his Fizz account. Once his account is created, he needs to create himself a new plan. In other words, he can't retrieve the plan he had in your account, whether it was a mobile or Internet plan. For 2 people living at the same address. For an internet plan For example, your roommate leaves but you stay in the apartment, and the Internet plan is activated in your roommate’s Fizz account. Your roommate cannot transfer the plan to you. He needs to unsubscribe from his plan (or submit a move request) and you’ll have to activate your own Home Internet plan at this address from your Fizz account. For a mobile plan For example, in the case of a separation, if both mobile plans are under the same Fizz account, it is unfortunately not possible at this time to transfer one of the numbers to a different Fizz account. Each plan remains tied to the account where it was originally activated.
