Moving your Home Internet plan is done directly from your account. Submit your request under My plans > Manage plan > Moving my service. Word of the wise, don’t forget to pack your Fizz Wi-Fi modem and bring it with you on your moving day! Need to change your Home Internet plan? No worries, but plan to do so before or after your move. You cannot modify your Home Internet plan during your move. Date coordination Chances are the date you choose to deactivate your Home Internet service at your current address will differ from the installation date you select for your new digs. If that’s your case, no worries. Your plan will be simply put on pause, and you won't incur any fees during that time. Your payment cycle will shift and begin upon activation at your new address. If a technician’s visit is required, the time needed to get an appointment varies based on demand. So, make sure to plan ahead during the moving season in June and July. A plan (or the service) is not available As you fill out your move request for your Home Internet plan, we’ll obviously ask you to enter your new address. One of three things can happen: > All is fine. This is great, but chances are this is not your case if you’re reading this section of our FAQ. > The download speed you have now is not available at your new address. Perhaps you are moving from an area with high bandwidth to one with lower bandwidth, which impacts the download speeds available to you. Choose a new plan. On the activation date of your new plan at your new address, your old plan will be refunded to you on a prorated basis. > Fizz Home Internet is not

With the Fizz Wi-Fi app and another device If you used the Fizz Wi-Fi app with another device, you’ll be able to share your password from that device. Take this other device, and open the Fizz Wi-Fi app. On top of the screen, click on Share Wi-Fi. From there, you’ll have several choices to share your Wi-Fi network. With your mobile If you have a mobile phone connected to your Wi-Fi network, follow these instructions : Make sure you're connected to your Wi-Fi Network. Open Settings Click on Connexion (or Wi-Fi on iOS) Click on Wi-Fi Click on the gear wheel icon located on the right of your network's name (or on the i on iOS) Click on the eye to unveil your Wi-Fi network password (or on Password on iOS) With a computer If you have a computer connected to your Wi-Fi network, follow these instructions Make sure you're connected to your Wi-Fi Network. Open the list of available Wi-Fi networks. Select Network and Internet Settings. Click on Network and Sharing Center. Select the Internet connection named as your Wi-Fi network. Select Wireless Properties. On the Security tab, click to show the characters. As a last resort If none of the above options work out for you, your last resort option is to restore your Wi-Fi modem to its factory settings. IMPORTANT: This will reset any changes that have been made to your Wi-Fi modem settings to date. You may also need to reconfigure your devices’ Wi-Fi settings (network name, password, etc.). The pilot project involving the use of a Wi-Fi extender with one's residential Internet package for three (3) months is by invitation only. Selected Internet members have been contacted by email. By replying YES to the invitation email, participants agree to receive the Wi-Fi extender and to complete the two (2) surveys that will be sent to them. Implications Fizz sends to participants an ARIA 2210 Wi-Fi extender valued at $100. Participants must install and use it for a period of three (3) months with their Fizz Home Internet plan. Once the pilot project is completed, participants keep the Wi-Fi extender. In exchange, participants agree to provide feedback on their use of the Wi-Fi extender via two (2) email surveys. Important: Resale of the Wi-Fi extender is prohibited. This pilot project and the comments received through the surveys remain confidential. During the pilot project, Fizz cannot be held responsible for any breakage, failure or deterioration of service due to the use of this Wi-Fi extender. How to install the extender 1 Download the updated version of the Fizz Wi-Fi app: 2 Open your Fizz Wi-Fi app. On the main page, tap on “My network topology” or find the button at the top left of the screen and select My networks. Then, select “Add an extender”. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the ARIA2210 to your existing Wi-Fi network. The best location for your Wi-Fi extender Because you want your extender to receive a strong signal from your Fizz Wi-Fi modem, things to consider include: Make sure your Wi-Fi modem is in the main room of your home. If your home has several floors, place your extender on the floor over/below your modem. Make sure your extender connects to the 5G band. This means placing your extender only 1 or 2

Going on vacation, moving or simply taking a break? Put your Home Internet plan on pause with just a few clicks. Good to know: A mobile plan cannot be put on pause. The best solution if you don’t want to lose your rewards in our loyalty program is to adjust your plan to its strict minimum (by only keeping the provincial coverage for instance) for the time being. How to change my mobile plan Putting your Internet plan on pause Putting your Internet plan on pause is done directly in your Fizz account > My plans > Manage plan > Pause my plan. Price per pause: $10 (plus applicable taxes) Your Home Internet plan can be put on pause up to two (2) times every 12 months per calendar year, for a maximum of six (6) months each time. The first time you put on your plan on pause will therefore determine the dates of your 12-month period. Let's illustrate this with an example. If you pause your plan on February 3, 2025, your plan must be reactivated no later than 6 months later, on or before August 3. You will then be left with one (1) pause available until February 2nd of the following year. Keeping with that example, say you wish to schedule your second pause to start December 12, 2025. Because your 12 months end February 2nd, 2026, that second pause will end on that date even if its length will be less than 6 months. If you wish to keep your plan on pause beyond that date, you’ll need to submit a new pause to start February 3, 2026. You will then be left with one (1) pause until February 2nd, 2027. Any access of 100 Mbps or more is subject to the traffic management policy. Last update: MARCH 2023 Does Fizz apply Internet traffic management measures? Yes, Fizz applies traffic management measures, but only from the user to the Internet (upload), and fo r accesses of 100 Mbps or more (hereinafter called THE ACCESSES*). *Certain conditions (see below). Why does Fizz use Internet traffic management measures? Fizz wants to offer the best online experience to its members. Because the upload speed (from the user to the Internet) of the ACCESSES* is high, Fizz uses traffic management measures to prevent some modems from slowing down the overall service, even momentarily. What kind of traffic is targeted? Fizz does not target any particular type of traffic, nor any specific applications or protocols such as peer-to-peer file sharing. Only data uploads (from the user to the Internet) made with the ACCESSES * access are subject to traffic management. Download traffic (from the Internet to the user) is not managed. When and how does Fizz manage traffic on its network? Every 15 minutes, a system checks the traffic rate of each upstream channel (typically, one upstream channel serves a few dozen modems). If the traffic rate exceeds the threshold above which congestion occurs, the syste m identifies the modems which use these ACCESSES* in that channel that are uploading a large amount of data. The upload capacity of these modems is then given a low-priority rating. Based on the severity and time during which the congestion persists, the upload speed of these modems may then be slowed down. When the amount of data uploaded by the modems is diminished or the traffic on that channel reverts to a normal rate for which congestion is no longer an issue, the upload capacity prioritization will go back
