How do I configure my device on the Wi-Fi network?
Make sure that the Wi-Fi feature on your device is activated Your device may have a software and / or physical Wi-Fi switch. The location of the software switch may vary from one device to another. Here are two examples: Computer: Network and internet settings → Wi-Fi Smartphone: Settings → Connections → Wi-Fi Placement of the hardware switch can vary from one device to another. Here are two examples: An on/off button on the front or side of your laptop A combination of keys, for example: Function and F2 Select your Wi-Fi network The default username and corresponding password for your Wi-Fi network are written on a sticker on the back of your Wi-Fi modem (Default Wi-Fi network and Default key). Sources of interference include: Nearby Wi-Fi networks Surveillance cameras Baby monitors Microwave ovens Etc. Expect a three (3) minute delay to allow your devices to reconnect to the Wi-Fi network. How can I use my own Wi-Fi router with Fizz?
Disable the Wi-Fi feature of the Fizz Wi-Fi modem In bridge mode, the two (2) Wi-Fi radios built into your Fizz Wi-Fi modem will be deactivated, thus disabling its Wi-Fi capabilities. Open an Internet browser and enter 192.168.0.1 in the address bar. Identify yourself using the following login information: Username: cusadmin Password: **enter your Wi-Fi password** Select Basic Select Gateway Disable the option ''Residential Gateway function'' Click Ok Install your personal Wi-Fi router Connect your personal router as indicated in its user guide. Plug the network cable (RJ45) into one of the four (4) numbered ports of your Fizz Wi-Fi modem. If there's any issue with the connection, restart both devices (the Fizz Wi-Fi modem and your personal router). If you want to re-enable the Wi-Fi capability of your Fizz Wi-Fi modem, you'll need to reset it to its factory settings. Using a small, sharp object, press the modem’s reset button for 10 seconds. • CODA-4680 model: the reset button is located behind the Wi-Fi modem. • CODA-5610Q model: the reset button is located under the Wi-Fi modem. When will my Fizz package be delivered?
The delivery of your package, whether it is a SIM card, a phone or a Wi-Fi modem, is done by a third party. The delivery date indicated on your order summary is for reference only; Fizz cannot guarantee a specific delivery date. Important: The scheduled delivery date cannot be changed. What are the delivery times for a SIM card or a device? You should plan between 2 to 5 working days for the delivery of a SIM card. Deliveries are made from Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. If the delivery time includes a holiday, it will take an extra day for delivery. For a phone or Wi-Fi modem, you will receive an email with a tracking number to follow your package. To check the status of your delivery: Log into your account and go to My settings > Order history > View Details Click on the shipment number to view your delivery details on the courier's website. Good to know: for Planète Courrier, go to "click for more info" and enter the postal code of the delivery address to see the delivery details. An issue with your delivery? I’ve unsubscribed. I want to return my Wi-Fi modem, but it’s lost or broken.
Please let us know if there’s a problem with returning your Wi-Fi modem. To contact Customer Service, simply click on the chat bubble in the bottom right corner of this page. You can access the bubble chat within our business hours. If you return a modem that is in poor condition, or if we receive a box that does not contain your modem, you will be charged a $225 (plus applicable taxes) modem replacement fee and/or $60 for delivery by a technician.
