Fizz Home Internet is not yet available everywhere. It is currently offered at many residential addresses in Quebec and in the Clarence-Rockland (ON) area and will, over time, become available in more and more areas. The address or unit number does not appear in the dropdown menu No worries! Click on the blue link “I can’t find my address.” Enter your postal code (without spaces) and your street number to start the search. Then follow the steps displayed on the screen. Make sure your address information is accurate Before going any further, make sure your address is entered correctly. You can check Canada Post’s website to: Verify the exact spelling of the street; Confirm the street number; Validate the postal code; Check whether your unit (apartment, condo, etc.) is properly listed. Even if your address does not appear at Canada Post, we can still perform validations with our teams to confirm eligibility. The address is still not found through the “I can’t find my address” search If your address still cannot be selected, this means it is not yet in our database. In that case: Contact us through the chat bubble (at the bottom right of the page). An agent will submit a validation request to our teams to verify the eligibility of your address. You can also test the address of an immediate neighbour. If the service is available at their place, there is a good chance it will soon be available for you as well. What if I get an unavailability message? If the following message appears after selecting your address: “ Sad news. Fizz Home Internet is unfortunately not available at your address.” and you believe this is an error: Click on the chat bubble (bottom right). An agent will perform additional checks to confirm the situation.

What is the Speed booster?
The Speed Booster is a temporary offer that allows selected customers to enjoy a higher Internet speed free of charge for a limited period (15 days). Once activated, your Internet plan will automatically be boosted to a faster speed, at no additional cost. How does the Speed Booster work? Selected members will receive an email to that effect. If you have received the email, here are the steps to follow: Activate the Speed Booster in your rewards via My Account>My Benefizz> My rewards > My perks. Your Internet speed will increase to the next level, that is, the speed indicated on the Booster. After 15 days, your Internet speed will automatically return to your regular plan speed. Only selected customers will receive an email enabling them to activate the Speed Booster. How do I know if my new Internet speed has been activated? When you activate the Speed Booster, your Internet modem will take a few minutes to restart and the new speed will be activated The modem restart may take up to five minutes, during which your Internet connection will be interrupted. Once the modem has restarted, run a speed test to ensure you have the appropriate boosted speed. Download the Fizz Wi-Fi app to run a speed test. To log in, use the same credentials as your Fizz account. At the end of the Speed Booster period, the modem will restart again to restore your original speed. @media screen and (max-width: 600px) { .card {padding:16px!important;} .card .btn {display: block!important;width: 100%;} } .card, .card * { box-sizing: border-box; } .card p {margin:0;padding:0;line-height:24px} .card h6 {margin-bottom:4px;line-height:24px} .card .btn {margin-top:16px;margin-bottom:0px;} .card .caption

What is a 5G mobile network?
What is a 5G mobile network? 5G is the fifth generation of wireless connectivity. It can transmit data up to 4 times faster than 4G LTE. It also allows a huge number of devices, i.e. up to one million per square kilometre, to work together at the same time. Latency (the delay between sending and receiving data) is greatly reduced, which makes everything feel faster and more responsive. At Fizz, 5G is safe. It mainly uses the same frequencies as 4G LTE and complies with all Health Canada and ISED standards, with no difference when it comes to data protection and privacy. The 5G network is used for data only; voice calls still use the 4G LTE network. Depending on your phone model, the 5G icon may still appear during a call. For now, Voice over 5G is not available with Fizz. How can I access 5G? To use 5G, you need three things: Be in a covered area Our 5G network is expanding and currently serves the main urban areas. Check our coverage map to see where 5G is available. Have a compatible device Take a look at the Phone characterisctics section on our site to see if your phone is 5G-compatible. For more details, refer to the technical specifications provided by your phone’s manufacturer. On a compatible device, the option is automatically enabled when you have a compatible 5G plan (after switching to a 5G plan). If not, please check your device settings by referring to the manufacturer’s website. Please note that 5G service cannot be guaranteed on devices that were not purchased from Fizz. Have a plan that includes 5G Make sure you've selected a plan that includes 5G. For an already active line whose plan doesn’t include 5G, you’ll need to change to a 5G‑enabled plan

Inuit and Métis people are not eligible for this exemption and generally do not live on reserves. Documents you need to get GST/HST relief As an Indian, it is necessary that you acquire a proof of registration with Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada (AANDC) to be eligible for GST/HST relief. For more information, see Indian Status.
