What is the 15-day return policy for a phone bought with Fizz?
To return your phone under the 15-day return policy, you must submit your request online within 15 days of the date on which you received your phone . Once that delay has expired, the 15-day return policy will be expired, and you will no longer be able to return your phone for a refund. To return your phone under the 15-day return policy, your mobile data usage must not have exceeded 50% of the data included in the mobile plan associated with that phone. Note: members with an approved disability attestation have a 30-day trial. There is a lifetime limit of two (2) 15-day returns per account. Specific conditions There are several conditions and important information you must know and accept before returning your phone, including the presence of an administrative fee if your return request is denied. See all the conditions The following additional conditions are specific to the 15-day return policy: You must send back your phone with all its accessories, including the charger and the original box. The phone must be like new. It wasn’t dropped. There is no scratch or any physical damage to the case, screen, buttons or connectors, camera lens and/or flash. In the case of a refurbished phone, it’s in the same condition as when you bought it from Fizz. One (1) return per account per year is allowed under the 15-day return policy. Beyond that number, we won’t be able to honour any return request. How can I access and use my voicemail?
Visual messaging now available at Fizz. Available for iOS and Android phones, Visual Messaging is included for free with the Voicemail option in your plan. You can listen to and manage your messages without having to "call" your voicemail. You own to have data to take advantage of it. To activate / deactivate your voicemail Make sure you have the voicemail option as part of your plan, and that your plan has minutes or else you will not be able to access it whether from your mobile phone or another phone. If your voicemail isn’t activated in your plan , you'll have to add the voicemail option. IMPORTANT - Any change to your plan must be made in accordance with the plan change policy detailed on https://fizz.ca/en/plan-change-policy. This change will then come into effect when your next payment cycle begins. (Under: My plans > Manage plan > Make changes to this plan > Change plan > Visual messaging) To access your voicemail To access your voicemail, hold the ''1'' key on your phone for a few seconds. For many phones, holding the ''1'' key the speed dial option to reach voicemail. This may vary between different phone models. The speed dial setting "1" to access voicemail (1-514-647-0999) may vary from one phone to another since it depends on each model’s operating system. Additionally, this setting may not be editable in all phones. If you are forwarding your calls to another number, the voicemail won’t pick up the call. Voicemail access is available when you are outside Canada and the United States by using a Voice Travel Add-on. What is the Speed booster?
The Speed Booster is a temporary offer that allows selected customers to enjoy a higher Internet speed free of charge for a limited period (15 days). Once activated, your Internet plan will automatically be boosted to a faster speed, at no additional cost. How does the Speed Booster work? Selected members will receive an email to that effect. If you have received the email, here are the steps to follow: Activate the Speed Booster in your rewards via My Account>My Benefizz> My rewards > My perks. Your Internet speed will increase to the next level, that is, the speed indicated on the Booster. After 15 days, your Internet speed will automatically return to your regular plan speed. Who can benefit from the Speed Booster? This offer is reserved for members with an active Internet plan at Fizz. It is available only where access and technology permit. Only selected customers will receive an email enabling them to activate the Speed Booster. How do I know if my new Internet speed has been activated? When you activate the Speed Booster, your Internet modem will take a few minutes to restart and the new speed will be activated The modem restart may take up to five minutes, during which your Internet connection will be interrupted. Once the modem has restarted, run a speed test to ensure you have the appropriate boosted speed. Download the Fizz Wi-Fi app to run a speed test. To log in, use the same credentials as your Fizz account.
