How can I recover my Wi-Fi password?
With the Fizz Wi-Fi app and another device If you used the Fizz Wi-Fi app with another device, you’ll be able to share your password from that device. Take this other device, and open the Fizz Wi-Fi app. On top of the screen, click on Share Wi-Fi. From there, you’ll have several choices to share your Wi-Fi network. With your mobile If you have a mobile phone connected to your Wi-Fi network, follow these instructions : Make sure you're connected to your Wi-Fi Network. Open Settings Click on Connexion (or Wi-Fi on iOS) Click on Wi-Fi Click on the gear wheel icon located on the right of your network's name (or on the i on iOS) Click on the eye to unveil your Wi-Fi network password (or on Password on iOS) With a computer If you have a computer connected to your Wi-Fi network, follow these instructions Make sure you're connected to your Wi-Fi Network. Open the list of available Wi-Fi networks. Select Network and Internet Settings. Click on Network and Sharing Center. Select the Internet connection named as your Wi-Fi network. Select Wireless Properties. On the Security tab, click to show the characters. As a last resort If none of the above options work out for you, your last resort option is to restore your Wi-Fi modem to its factory settings. What’s Visual voicemail, and how does it work?
With Visual voicemail, your messages are literally at your finger tips. You listen and manage your messages by selecting them directly on your phone screen, without having to “call” your voicemail. Is my plan ready? Your mobile plan must include the Voicemail option, as well as data. Visual voicemail is now the basic voicemail for our mobile plans. So whatever name you see, Voicemail or Visual voicemail, know that we're referring to the same thing, Visual voicemail. How to add the Voicemail option to my mobile plan How to configure my phone. Once your plan is ready with the Visual Voicemail option and data, you’ll have to configure your phone. Android members, it’s all in the app. Download and install the app Fizz | Visual voicemail on your phone. The activation steps are simple, and you will have a few permissions to give like allowing texts and the synchronization of your contacts. These permissions are necessary if you want to take full advantage of the Visual voicemail features. Download the app on Google Play Apple members, it’s all in the iOS. Subscription area versus coverage area
Mobile services are available in the provinces of Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta, and British Columbia. To check if your address is located in an area where the subscription is available and to get more details about the coverage, please refer to our dynamic coverage map. What is the difference between my coverage area and subscription area? Your coverage area is where you can use your Fizz plan without paying roaming fees. When you subscribed and created your plan, you chose your coverage area: provincial (Quebec, Ontario, British Colombia, Alberta or Manitoba), Canada or USA + Canada. If you roam outside your coverage area, you can use your Fizz plan on our partner networks. Log into your account any time to change your coverage area: How to change your plan. Any change will take effect at the start of your next payment cycle. If you selected the provincial coverage in your plan, consider buying a Travel Add-on or an International call Add-on to make your calls to Canada or the United States. The subscription area is the area where you must live to be a Fizz subscriber. If you live in the subscription area and your address is not recognized, do not hesitate to contact us so that we check with you. Use your Fizz account to check whether a destination is included or not in your coverage area. Once logged in, under your mobile plan, click on Manage / Add-ons. Enter the destination. If the search gives no result, it means that the destination is included in the coverage area you chose for your plan. How do I change my personal information ?
Log into your Fizz account. Everything is under My settings. Changing your email address. The email address associated with your Fizz account is where you receive communications from Fizz, including administrative emails. It is therefore imperative to keep this address up to date in your account. To change your email address, contact us using the chat bubble located in the lower right-hand corner of this FAQ. Once your identity is confirmed, the rep will make the change for you. An email will then be sent to your new address to confirm the change. Y ou’ll have 24 hours to take action. After that, the link won’t work, and you’ll have to contact us again. If you do end up doing this a few times, use the link in the most recent email. The other, previous links won’t work. Once the change is completed, your new address will be the one to use to access your Fizz account. Your Fizz communications will also be sent to this new email address. Changing your password. If you are connected to your Fizz account, go under My settings. There, you’ll see the fields to enter your current and new passwords. If you forgot your password and cannot log into your account, go to the Fizz login page and use the link for a forgotten password. How to choose a good password, and protect it: Use a mix of letters, numbers, and special characters to create your password. Make the password difficult to guess: Do not use known words, names of friends or pets, your date of birth, etc. Use a different password for every application you use. Do not tell your friends or family your password. Do not write your passwords on a piece of paper next to your computer or in a file
