How can I use my own Wi-Fi router with Fizz?
Disable the Wi-Fi feature of the Fizz Wi-Fi modem In bridge mode, the two (2) Wi-Fi radios built into your Fizz Wi-Fi modem will be deactivated, thus disabling its Wi-Fi capabilities. Open an Internet browser and enter 192.168.0.1 in the address bar. Identify yourself using the following login information: Username: cusadmin Password: **enter your Wi-Fi password** Select Basic Select Gateway Disable the option ''Residential Gateway function'' Click Ok Install your personal Wi-Fi router Connect your personal router as indicated in its user guide. Plug the network cable (RJ45) into one of the four (4) numbered ports of your Fizz Wi-Fi modem. If there's any issue with the connection, restart both devices (the Fizz Wi-Fi modem and your personal router). If you want to re-enable the Wi-Fi capability of your Fizz Wi-Fi modem, you'll need to reset it to its factory settings by holding down the reset button on the back of the device for ten (10) seconds. If needed, restart both your modem and personal router This quick video will guide you through each step. But in a nutshell: Unplug the power cable on your Wi-Fi modem. Make sure all the lights on the modem turn off. Wait ten (10) seconds. Plug your modem back into the electrical outlet. Expect a three (3) minute delay to allow your devices to reconnect to the Wi-Fi network. Note: If you are also using a personal router, you'll need to restart it as well. Recommendation: It is more effective to restart your Wi-Fi modem by unplugging its power cable instead of pressing its power button.

How do I subscribe to Fizz TV?
Requirements Before you dive in and subscribe to our TV service, please note the following important requirements. A Fizz Home Internet plan of 30 Mbps minimum. Fizz TV is available to Fizz Home Internet members in the province of Québec. Fizz delivers television by IPTV which means your TV channels are delivered over your Internet connection. The speed you choose for your Home Internet plan will therefore have an impact on the rendering of your TV service. The minimum recommended is 30 Mbps. Subscribe to Fizz Home Internet A compatible device. Once subscribed to Fizz TV, you must download the Fizz TV app on a compatible device to access and watch the channels you selected as part of your TV plan. As such, make sure to check the list of compatible devices beforehand. Good to know: A maximum of one (1) TV plan per Fizz account is allowed. How can I change my TV plan or channels?
Some features to change a TV plan are still in development. You can change the channels in your current plan or add some to switch to a bigger plan. If you wish to switch to a smaller plan, please contact our Customer Service team. Changing your channels You may change your channels at any time, without changing your monthly TV plan: In your Fizz account, go under My plans > Manage plan > Change my plan. Select your channels. Make sure the total number of channels in your new selection is the same as in your current selection. Submit your changes. Log out and back in your Fizz TV app, and you’ll have access to your new channels instantly. Good to know: any new channel you select for your plan must be kept for at least 30 days. Adding channels to your plan Please note that you cannot change your TV plan during the freeze period (4.5 days before the end of your current billing cycle). You may add channels to your TV plan at any time: In your Fizz account, go under My plans > Manage plan > Change my plan. Add the new channels you want. Submit your changes. A recap of your order and your new services agreement will be sent to you by email. Log out and back in your Fizz TV app, and you’ll have access to your new channels instantly. Remember, any new channel you select for your plan must be kept for at least 30 days. How do payment cycles work?
Start date For your mobile service: The date on which you activate your SIM card is the anniversary date for your mobile plan, and this date marks the start of your payment cycle each month. For your Home Internet service: You received your Fizz Wi-Fi modem by mail? Its activation date marks the beginning of your payment cycle. Don’t forget, Fizz will activate it remotely three (3) days after its delivery date, but you can activate it yourself in your account if you’re ready before then. Your modem was delivered by a technician? If you had an installation appointment with a technician, your modem will be activated then, and the date of your appointment therefore marks the beginning of your payment cycle. For your TV service: The payment cycle for your TV plan will be the same as the one for your Home Internet plan. But because your TV plan is activated as soon as you subscribe, you may need to pay a prorated amount on that day to bridge the gap until the next payment cycle of your Home Internet plan . Say you subscribe to Fizz TV on December 14 but your next payment cycle for your Home Internet plan only starts on December 30. The prorated amount you will pay on December 14 will therefore correspond to those 16 days. Come your next full payment cycle, December 30 in our example, the payments for both those plans will be combined, and the payment cycle for your TV plan will be synchronized to the payment cycle of your Home Internet plan. Good to know: If you subscribe to your TV plan during the freeze period for your Home Internet plan, the amount you will have to pay will correspond to the days leading up to your first full
