With the Wi-Fi modem and the Fizz Wi-Fi app, you have a dynamic duo that puts you in control of your Wi-Fi network. A quick peek is all you need to see which devices are connected. From there, you can choose to block or pause access to some (or all) of them. You can also manage access to your Wi-Fi network by creating a Wi-Fi network for your guests, with its own schedule and password. If you can't remember it, you'll need to recover it. How to recover my Wi-Fi password To become the household’s Chief Wi-Fi Officer, you must first create your administrative password. Before you create your administrative password, manually disconnect all devices connected to the app to prevent them from retaining the administrative access. Open a web browser. Enter 192.168.0.1 in the address bar of the web browser. Log in using the following credentials: Username: cusadmin Password: (enter the password you chose for your Wi-Fi network when you initially configured your modem). Head into the following section: Administration > Manage Enter your Wi-Fi network password to confirm your identity. Then, choose and enter an administrative password that you’ll keep for yourself. Once these steps are completed, you’ll have: A password for your Wi-Fi network. This password hasn’t changed. An administrative password only you have and can now use with the app to access the configuration options of your network. Manage access using the Fizz Wi-Fi app Open the app. Sign in using the same credentials as your Fizz account. Please let us know if there’s a problem with returning your Wi-Fi modem. To contact Customer Service, simply click on the chat bubble in the bottom right corner of this page. You can access the bubble chat within our business hours. If you return a modem that is in poor condition, or if we receive a box that does not contain your modem, you will be charged a $225 (plus applicable taxes) modem replacement fee and/or $60 for delivery by a technician. I’ve unsubscribed. How do I return my Wi-Fi modem?
Before we get into the swing of things, know that based on the date you unsubscribe from your Home Internet plan: You have 15 days to return your Fizz Wi-Fi modem (and its power cable). Failure to do so means you will be automatically charged the modem replacement fee, as per your Services agreement. If you are charged this amount but do end up sending us back the modem, then no worries, you will be automatically refunded. Once your modem is returned, it will take (approximately) 4-6 weeks to receive, if applicable, your prorated refund for the monthly fee you paid based on the days left, if any, in your payment cycle. Pack the modem carefully Important: Make sure that nothing is taped on the modem, and its barcode is legible. Find a box that is not too big to make sure the modem is snug and not tossed around. A box of size 12 ¼ x 9 ¼ x 5 ¼ inches is ideal. The box must also be sufficiently sturdy, so the modem is well protected. Canada Post has guidelines on the best way to wrap a package for shipping . Have your return ID number handy Download, print or write down your return ID number. Canada Post will need this number to print your free return label. There are two ways to find your return ID number: In the confirmation email you received when you unsubscribed from Fizz. By returning to the Fizz unsubscribe process. Once you’ve unsubscribed, you’ll be able to access a shortcut to your return ID number. To find your return ID number in your Fizz account: Log into your account and go to Manage. Click on Unsubscribe. Instead of the unsubscribe process, you’ll see a button that says: Cancel my unsubscription. Below this button, click on See instructions for returning my Wi-Fi modem. Here you’ll find return instructions, your unique return ID number and barcode. This barcode will allow Canada Post to print your return label for free. How do I reactivate my Fizz mobile or Internet plan?
What a joy to get you back. Reactivating your package is done online, directly from your account. Ready? Please note that a plan cancelled during the trial period cannot be reactivated afterwards. For a mobile plan Log in to your Fizz account and go to My plans. You’ll see your plan there if it was deactivated less than 60 days ago. Click Reactivate and follow the steps. If you no longer have your Fizz SIM card, you’ll need to order a new one. You can reuse your Fizz phone number. If you transferred it to another provider when you deactivated your Fizz mobile plan, you can choose to transfer it back. IMPORTANT – If your mobile plan was deactivated more than 60 days ago, reactivating it is impossible. You must start from the beginning and create a new plan. Create my plan For a Home Internet plan Log in to your Fizz account and go to My plans. You’ll see your plan there if it was deactivated less than 30 days ago. Still have your Fizz Wi-Fi modem? Click Reactivate and follow the steps. Make sure you have the serial number of your modem handy. After completing your reactivation, restart your modem. Don't have your Fizz Wi-Fi modem anymore? Reactivating your plan is impossible. You must subscribe to receive a new modem. Choose my plan IMPORTANT – If your Home Internet plan was deactivated more than 30 days ago, reactivating it is impossible. Since you have a 45-day period to return your device, we exceptionally offer the possibility to reactivate your plan within a maximum period of 30 days. You have to start from the beginning and subscribe to a new plan. Choose my plan You’ll receive a new Wi-Fi modem for this new plan. Don’t forget to return us
