I can’t receive any calls on my phone. Why?

Why do I need a SIM card?
Good to know: if your phone is compatible with eSIMS, our eSIM is free, and you can order, install and activate it all in one shot. See the steps for an eSIM here. If your phone is not compatible with eSIMs or if you prefer having a physical SIM card, it’s all good as well. Your SIM card is what identifies you and connects your phone (whether you buy one on fizz.ca or bring your own) to the mighty fine Fizz mobile network. A Fizz VoLTE SIM card: has no expiry date or limited lifetime; can be activated at any time; can be reused if the initial plan with which it was associated has been cancelled. Is it possible to transfer my plan to another account?
The short answer, unfortunately, is no. At the moment, it is not possible to transfer a Fizz plan (or a phone number) from one Fizz account to another Fizz account. For both mobile plans and residential Internet plans, our systems do not allow the transfer from one account to another. It is also not possible to group multiple accounts. However, these are features we are working on. For a child who has grown up. What is the 15-day return policy for a phone bought with Fizz?
To return your phone under the 15-day return policy, you must submit your request online within 15 days of the date on which you received your phone . Once that delay has expired, the 15-day return policy will be expired, and you will no longer be able to return your phone for a refund. To return your phone under the 15-day return policy, your mobile data usage must not have exceeded 50% of the data included in the mobile plan associated with that phone. Note: members with an approved disability attestation have a 30-day trial. Specific conditions There are several conditions and important information you must know and accept before returning your phone, including the presence of an administrative fee if your return request is denied. See all the conditions The following additional conditions are specific to the 15-day return policy: You must send back your phone with all its accessories, including the charger and the original box. The phone must be like new. It wasn’t dropped. There is no scratch or any physical damage to the case, screen, buttons or connectors, camera lens and/or flash. In the case of a refurbished phone, it’s in the same condition as when you bought it from Fizz. One (1) return per account per year is allowed under the 15-day return policy. Beyond that number, we won’t be able to honour any return request. My phone is using an unusual or high amount of data. Why?
The amount of data your phone uses may vary depending on how you use it, which native installations are running on it, and which applications you have installed. Some applications, native or not, can use your mobile data in the background. For example, cloud-based apps such as Google Drive or Apple iCloud could be using your data to automatically backup your photos, videos, and documents. Some streaming music or video services can also download content in the background. Fizz provides you with handy tools to keep you informed about your mobile data usage: A usage metre (visible when you first sign in to your account) tells you how fast you are consuming your minutes and your data, compared to the amount available in your plan. Notifications at 75%, 90% and 100% of your usage. Note: You must log into your account and activate notifications at 75% and 90% usage. If you do not, you will only receive a notification when you are at 100% of your usage. You can also check your mobile data usage directly via your phone. The steps to follow to check your data usage can vary depending on the type of phone you have. How do I access the Internet from my phone?
Make sure you are in an area covered by our service. View network coverage maps If you are outside of Fizz's coverage area, you may still be able to use your mobile data by connecting to our WAN. How to access the extended network If you are outside the Fizz coverage area, your phone is probably in roaming mode. Options for using data while roaming Is there data in your plan? Make sure you have mobile data in your plan. My Plans. If there is no data in your plan, you will not be able to access the Fizz mobile Internet network. You can change your plan to add data. This change will take effect come your next payment cycle. Other options: Buy an Add-on which will allow you to use its data right away. Connect to a Wi-Fi network. Is your data enabled? Your phone has a software switch that allows you to grant or deny access to the Fizz mobile Internet network. By doing so, you allow, or not, your phone to use mobile data. The procedure for allowing the use of mobile data may vary from one phone to another.
