How do I access my voicemail?

  1. Make sure your voicemail is enabled.

Make sure you have the voicemail option as part of your plan, and your plan has minutes or else you will not be able to access it whether from your mobile phone or another phone.

If your voicemail is deactivated in your plan, you'll have to add the voicemail option. To do so, make a change to your plan at least 48 hours before the end of your payment cycle. This change will then come into effect when your next payment cycle begins. (Under: My plans > Manage plan > Make changes to this plan > Change plan > Voicemail)

  1. Have you changed your access code (PIN)?

Try to access your voicemail with a new access code (PIN).

(Under: My Plans > Manage My Plan > Advanced Settings > PIN to access your voicemail)

  1. Is the "1" key configured correctly?

Make sure your phone goes to voicemail when you press “1”.

Using the ''1'' key to access voicemail is considered speed dial by phones to access voicemail. This functionality varies from one model to another.

To manually access your voicemail, dial (1-514-647-0999).

The process of configuring a speed dial number using “1” to connect to the voicemail server (1-514-647-0999) may vary from one phone to another, as it depends on your phone’s operating system. With some models you may not be able to make this modification.

Note: If call forwarding is enabled, voicemail will not pick up unanswered calls.
