What’s the difference between buying a Travel Add-on and changing my plan’s coverage?
Changing your plan’s coverage could save you money. With the Canada+USA coverage, you get unlimited calls and texts, as well as access to the mobile data in your plan, plus (if applicable) your unused data that rolled over from the previous month and data perks.XX Changing your plan must be done during your payment cycle that precedes your trip.XX
With a Travel add-on, you pay a fixed price for a block of data, minutes or texts and you can purchase other Add-ons if you run out sooner than expected. An Add-on is activated instantly upon purchase and remains valid until the end of your next payment cycle.XX
What do I have to do to use my Fizz mobile plan in the United States?
You can use your Fizz mobile plan if you chose the Canada+USA coverage, but the ability to make calls will depend on the network your phone connects to at your location. If only the LTE network is available, your SIM card and phone must be certified VoLTE.XX
With which provider did Fizz partner up in the United States?
Fizz works with several partners including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon and Claro so you can stay connected during your travels. But be advised, these providers use the LTE network. If you want to make calls and only the LTE network is available where you are, VoLTE technology comes into play.XX
