The 988 service is a Suicide Crisis Helpline that is free of charge and set up for anyone who is thinking about suicide, or who is worried about someone they know. Call or text 988 to get help, no judgement, from a responder in English or French. For more information, visit https://988.ca. How can the 988 service help me? The 988 Suicide Crisis Helpline is a new three-digit helpline that provides urgent, live support by phone and text to people in every province and territory across the country. The 988 service is available in English and French, 24 hours a day, every single day of the year across the country. Trained responders will listen without judgement while providing support. Who should use the 988 service? The 988 service is for anyone who is thinking about suicide, or who is worried about someone they know. While suicide prevention is the primary focus of the 988 service, no one will be turned away. Everyone who contacts the 988 service will be assessed for suicide risk. Responders are trained to deal with people going through a range of crises. Who runs the 988 service? The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in Toronto, Ontario is leading and coordinating the delivery of the 988 service nationwide in both English and French. A growing network of more than 40 experienced local, provincial, territorial, and national crisis lines across the country provide lifesaving support to people who call or text 988. How do I change my communications preferences?
Under My Settings, you can choose what kind of communication you wish to receive from Fizz, and specify whether you want to receive communication via email or text. You can also choose to receive these messages in English or French. You may choose not to receive promotional communications from Fizz. Know however that you will continue to receive the administrative communications Fizz sends by email. This includes, but is not limited to, everything related to your payments, order confirmations, appointment reminders, delivery information and the My Rewards program. You are at all times responsible for updating the email address associated with your Fizz account. Fizz is not responsible if an administrative communication is sent to an email incorrect address. To access your communication preferences: Go to My Settings in your Fizz account. How do I change the language of the Fizz website?
You can switch the Fizz website from French to English using the FR (Français) / EN (English) button on the bottom of the page. If you're using your smartphone, the language button is in the top left menu. By default, you will see the Fizz website in the same language as your browser. To change the language of your notifications, texts and emails, adjust your account settings in My Account > My Profile.
