Ever ran out of milk for example, and one of your neighbours kindly helped you out? That’s the kind of kindness that inspired data sharing among the Fizz community. Whether it’s a close friend or a friendly stranger, whoever receives your data will be grateful.¹

In 2023, over 11 000 GB of mobile data was generously gifted by Fizz members to help Organisation Bleue. A big thanks as well to those who participated in the clean-up events, removing a total of 655 kg of trash from the shores of the St. Lawrence.

In your Fizz account, go under My plans, spot your plan and click on Gift.
Log in
Choose the lucky person who’ll benefit from your generosity and determine how much data to gift them.
Find a member to offer my data
Personnalize your message and click on Send. Bingo. Your good deed for the day is done.

A few questions, and their answers.

Can I gift data at anytime?

Yes, so long as it's before the end of your payment cycle, you can gift your data in blocks of 500 MB.

My payment cycle is over. Where’s my unused data?

Oh no, it’s too late now. Once your cycle is over, your unused data is rolled over to the next month. You can no longer gift any of it.

Who can I gift my data to?

Any Fizz member can receive your data, so long as their plan includes data.

Is my personal info safe when I gift to a stranger?

Ask them their referral code. To see their code, the member must go into their account under My settings > Invite friends.

Data gifting (1)
Only data associated with your plan during the current payment cycle can be gifted to another Fizz member (per 500 MB block). Members must subscribe to a plan containing mobile data in order to receive a gift. Gift recipients must use gifted data before the end of their next full payment cycle.

Social engagement (2)
Only data associated with your mobile plan during the current payment cycle can be gifted (per 500 MB block). For every 2 GB gifted by December 15, 2023, inclusively, to one of the non-profit organizations preselected by Fizz, Fizz will contribute $1 to that non-profit organization, up to a total, all organizations combined, of $30,000. Subject to change without notice.

Data rollover (3)
During a payment cycle, the unused data from your mobile plan can be used within the two months following the end of that cycle. This excludes Add-Ons, gifted data and rewards included in the My Rewards program (without exception). You must have an active plan to use rolled over data.

My Rewards program (4)
An active Fizz account is required. The conditions of the My Rewards program apply.

Referral bonus (5)
The referral bonus for the active Fizz member and the one for the new member will be automatically applied towards the monthly payment of their respective plan provided that both members have an active plan at the time the new member has accumulated two months of service. The amount of the referral bonus is non-refundable, non-transferable, and subject to change without notice. You must disclose that you will receive an incentive when referring your friend.
