The Fizz free trial is a way to test our mobile services on our 5G network at no cost. With the Fizz free trial, you get a free Fizz eSIM and a small test allowance available for 15 days, so you can see how Fizz performs in your everyday life, including data, minutes and texts, without cancelling your current provider or transferring your number.
How does the Fizz free trial work?
The Fizz free trial works by giving you a free Fizz eSIM that you activate online and use alongside your current provider. During the 15‑day trial, you can toggle between your existing line and your Fizz line to compare coverage, call quality and data. If you're happy with the quality of the Fizz network and mobile services, you can then choose to switch to Fizz.
Who is eligible for the Fizz free trial?
To be eligible for the Fizz free trial, you must have an active, transferable mobile phone number in Canada with another provider. The Fizz free trial is limited to one trial per person.
Will I be automatically charged or switched to Fizz at the end of the free trial?
You will not be automatically charged or switched to Fizz at the end of the free trial. The Fizz free trial does not require a credit card, so there is no way for Fizz to charge you automatically. Switching to Fizz only happens if you decide to and submit a request.
Are there any limitations to the Fizz free trial?
Yes, there are limitations to the Fizz free trial. The trial is limited to 15 days, 3 GB of data, 100 SMS and 100 minutes, and it is strictly about testing our network and mobile services. During the Fizz free trial you do not get access to the exclusive member benefits like data rollover, data gifting, loyalty rewards, etc.
