Slow and steady wins the bike race. Enjoy a nature break in the lush, leafy Southwest. Take your time and soak up its vibrant colours.
Bike along the beautiful Lachine Canal towards the one thousand and one aromas of Atwater Market. Then cross Pointe-Saint-Charles Bridge to glimpse Montréal’s history through its many former factories, centennial buildings, and dams.
Stop off at a park for a picnic and the chance to observe another slow-but-steady mode of transportation: the swan-shaped pedalo.
Other neighbourhood gems include:
- Lali Café: 1850 Rue Notre-Dame Ouest
- Perles et Paddock: 403 Rue des Seigneurs
- Numerous antique stores
- The mural of Montréal jazz legends
- Sudwest Gyros & Co.: 3401 Rue Notre-Dame Ouest
